10 TWO VERS IONS NBV 700 5X For demanding machining operations, e.g. for contoured shapes and complex geometries the machine is equipped with an NC tilting/rotary table (C- on A- axis). Dual torque motor technology integrated into the A-axis provides for increased feed stability, accuracy and speed during the machining process. Complete machining in one single setup (5-axis simultaneous machining) Optimized precision and accuracy Tilting and rotary movements are performed on the work piece side, allowing for short distances on the linear axes Torque motors on both sides of the a-axis ensure symmetrical delivery of power and torque to the rotary and tilting table NBV 700 MT The NC tilting/rotary table (C- on A-axis) can optionally be equipped with a high-speed rotary table for both turning and milling operations in one machine set up. Integration of turning capability on C-axis enables multiple operations, reducing setup time and allowing increased productivity as well as part accuracy.
