The innovative servo and control technology from Klöckner Medipack sets new standards: Design: Clean: Continuous levels and streamlined design, smooth surfaces, balcony construction, ideal to clean. Manageable: Despite the all-round panelling, the entire line remains easily manageable. Accessible: Easily accessible from all sides. Hoods are hinged, the electrical control cabinets can be swivelled aside. Concept: Separate servo drives are installed for all the main functions. Maximum flexibility despite the integrated line technology. Space can easily be made for supplementary functions. Zoning ensures that function areas are clearly segregated. The blister packs are transferred without conveyor belts, without stacking magazines, with direct stack formation and direct insertion into the carton.

5 An innovative concept for control and transfer. Control The main requirements to be met today are: easy operation, manageability, speed and safety. Our concept provides all the answers: - Touch-screen with graphic user interface ensures simple, easy-to-learn intuitive operation of the machine. Access levels are protected by passwords for maximum security. - All electrical format parameters can be called up at the push of a button for quick format changes. This also applies to such supplementary units as fill control and bar code readers. - Productivity, running times and fault causes are recorded in detail and the data are analyzed. Effective fault analysis will boost efficiency. - Data are recorded in relation to orders in the batch log and in relation to machines in the machine log. - All machine functions operate reliably in accordance with a PLC machine control of the latest generation with integrated servo-axis control. Transfer* Continuous control and safety also during transfer: - Stacks are formed directly beneath the punching station to ensure safe handling of the blisters. - Reject packages are compensated by spare blisters stacked in between. - Completed stacks are transferred to the infeed by cellular belts with positive engagement. - Packages are always grasped securely. - A manual refeeding chute is optionally available.
