2 The yer Standardised Logistics (SSCC) Label There are three types of data elements included in the label :- andatory ust always appear on the label Conditional ust always appear on the label when a certain condition is met Optional Use of the Serial Shipping Container Code ( SSCC ) or Ai (00) The label includes the use of the UCC/ EAN Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC). However the inclusion of the SSCC by a supplier, will only be accepted after the Suppliers in-house processes have been fully accredited by yer Pty Ltd. Suppliers who are reviewing their labelling systems in response to this document, need to be aware that the later accreditation process only allows for the use of labelling equipment that is part of an accredited hardware and software solution. This can be a Distribution Centre or a store SSCC Number : Is andatory where the Supplier is E-commerce Accredited by yer Advertised date Store Zone / Dept Item description : Is andatory based on receipt in the order : Is andatory, based on receipt of this information in the order : Is conditional, based on the carton/ fashion bag containing only 1 SKU Carrier : Carrier is optional. Suppliers, or their Carriers may want to use this field FOR : Business / Store : The business and number of the store or Distribution Centre that the stock was ordered for Purchase Order number : Is andatory as passed in the Order Barcoded Data TO : Ship To Location : as an Application Identifier ( Ai ) 421 including the ISO country code. Australia is 036 FOR : Store Number : as an Application Identifier (Ai ) 90. ust always be 4 digits. 8 Logistics (SSCC) Label - Bar Code Specification Symbology: Start Code: End Symbol: Concatenation: UCC/EAN-128 Code Set C followed by a function 1 (FNC1) character The end of bar code symbol consists of a modulo 103 check character and a stop character For the concatenated Ship To and For Bar Code (Post Code and Store Number) a Function Code 1 (FNC1) character is required as a field separator before the second Ai indicator (90) agnification: 50% Length: Width: Light argin/ Position: iscellaneous: Top Bar Code (Post Code and Store Number) mm Bottom Bar Code (SSCC) - 78mm Top Bar Code (Post Code and Store Number) - 38 mm Bottom Bar Code (SSCC) - 29mm The Bar Codes are to be positioned in the middle of the label with a minimum light margin of 5mm each side. 9 Logistics (SSCC) Label - Positioning Specifications The label must be placed on one of the longest sides of each carton. The right hand end of the SSCC barcode must be no less than 19mm from the vertical edge of the carton. For a hanging fashion bag, the label must be placed as close as possible to the side of the upper right shoulder of the bag.
