BASIC PRICE : Grade wise Basic Ex-Bathinda plant, Ex-Company Warehouse & Ex-CS Warehouse prices are as per the attached price list. B. DISCOUNTS : 1. Locational Discount a. Locational Discount shall be applicable as per the attached price list. 2. Cash Discount (CD) & Early Payment Discount (EPD) a. CD of Rs.950 per MT shall be available in lieu of Interest Free Credit (IFC), applicable on Pre-Excise basis for Ex-works sales & on Post-Excise basis for Ex-Company Warehouse sales. CD is applicable on all the grades except PS, PW and GS. b. CD shall not be available on Ex-CS Warehouse sales. c. An Early payment Discount (EPD) of Rs.68/MT/Day will be applicable on credit sales, if the full invoice payment is received before the due date. EPD shall be available for maximum of 13 days. d. EPD will be applicable on Ex-works & Ex-Company Warehouse Credit sales only. e. For the material procured against Cash terms, its payment will be due on the 3 rd day from the date of invoice (eg. Invoice Date 1 st :: Due Date 3 rd ). 3. Trade Discount - Quantity Discount(QD) a. QD shall be applicable on combined off-take from Ex-Plant, Ex-Company & CS Warehouses. b. QD shall be applicable on Prime & Non-Prime grades only. c. QD shall be disbursed on Post-Sale basis through credit note in the subsequent month. d. Customers shall be eligible for QD, on completion of monthly lifting as per the following slabs: QD Slab (MT) Rs./MT 9 & above & above & above & above & above & above & above & above & above & above Trade Discount - Grade Specific Discount (GSD) a. GSD of Rs.4000/MT shall be applicable on Ex-Works sales of Prime & Non-Prime grades of R03RR (Raffia), on Pre-Excise basis. b. GSD shall not be applicable for Ex-Company Warehouse and Ex-CS Warehouse sales. 1 P a g e

2 C. TAXES & DUTIES : 1. Central Excise Duty shall be charged as applicable at the time of delivery (Presently Basic Excise duty is 12% plus Education Cess 2 % & Secondary Education & Higher Education % both on Basic Excise Duty.) 2. Local Sales Tax/ VAT shall be charged extra as per the prevailing rates in respective States. 3. Central Sales Tax shall be charged as applicable at the time of delivery (Presently CST is 2%, against submission of C-Form). D. ROAD PERMIT/ENTRY TAX/OCTROI: 1. The requisite road permit wherever applicable, shall be made available by the customer at the supply location, for despatch of material. 2. Entry Tax/Octroi wherever applicable, shall be borne by the customer. E. CREDIT TERMS & MODE OF PAYMENT: days Interest Free Credit (IFC) (excluding date of payment) shall be available to the customers on their Ex-Works & Ex-Company Warehouse off-take, in Lieu of Cash Discount. IFC is applicable on all the grades except PS, PW and GS. 2. For Credit sales, any delay in payment beyond the due date, the following penal overdue interest will be charged from the due date: a. First 30 days after IFC : 18% per annum b. Beyond 30 days : 24% per annum 3. For Cash sales, any delay in payment beyond due date, penal overdue interest@ 36% shall be charged from the due date. 4. All the payments to HMEL shall be through E-BANKING/RTGS/NEFT. F. FREIGHT REIMBURSEMENT: 1. For Ex-Works sales, the Customer is liable to pay the freight charges, for the delivery assistance arranged by HMEL on Customer's request. 2. Freight Reimbursement shall be charged from the Customer along-with the Goods Invoice value. 3. Freight Reimbursement shall be charged as per the HMEL Freight Circular. 4. Freight Reimbursement shall be inclusive of applicable service tax. 5. For Ex-Company Warehouse and for Ex-CS Warehouse sales, the local freight to the customer location shall be arranged & paid by the customers themselves. G. PACKAGING : Prices are for standard packing in 25 kg bags. H. CUT & TORN BAGS : For sale of Cut & Torn Bags Ex-Company or Ex-CS Warehouses, a C&T Discount of Rs.800/MT would be given on invoice (post excise basis) on actual weight basis. With Regards, M.S.
