12 NBIS Reviews (23 Metrics) Improvement and Corrective Action Plans Substantial Compliance Improvement Plan (IP) A written response by state DOT to FHWA which documents agreement for corrective actions to address deficiencies identified. The timeframe is limited to 12 months or less. Conditional Compliance Plan of Corrective Action (PCA) A documented action agreement prepared by state DOT and approved by FHWA Division describing the process, status reporting frequency, and timelines to correct non-compliant NBIS statutory and regulatory requirements. 12

13 Bridge Ratings LaDOTD Does all State Owned Bridge Ratings and all Routine Timber Bridge Ratings Local bridge owners play a significant role in meeting the requirements of seven of the Bridge Inspection Program Metrics 13

14 Bridge Ratings The most recent FHWA evaluation of Louisiana s bridge program required DOTD to develop and submit a Plan of Corrective Action regarding missing bridge information Prioritized bridges that lack sufficient load ratings and/or adequate files documenting the history, design and/or condition of bridges 14
