18 Regulation 6 Inspection Where the safety of work equipment depends on installation it must be inspected: After installation and before being put into service for the first time or. After assembly at a new site or in a new location. PUWER Reg 6 18

22 Regulation 6 Inspection Every employer shall ensure that no work equipment. a) Leaves their undertaking, or b) If obtained from the undertaking of another person, is used in their undertaking unless- It is accompanied by physical evidence that the last inspection required by this regulation has been carried out. 24 Regulation 6 Inspection The competent person deciding the nature of the inspection should have the necessary knowledge and experience to decide what the inspection should include, how and when it should be carried out. PUWER Reg 6 24
