LSAW, HSAW, ERW or seamless pipes at ambient temperature. The marking stations are based on an automated system that integrates a print head.

3 GENERAL DESCRIPTION SMARKTEC has developed a wide range of automatic pipe marking stations tailored to the specific needs of the market. Each marking station has been designed with specific features adapted to different working environments: from marking hot casting or seamless pipes at high temperature (up to 1,100º C), to marking LSAW, HSAW, ERW or seamless pipes at ambient temperature. The marking stations are based on an automated system that integrates a print head. Both the automated system and the print head depend on the particular characteristics of the application. The marking stations work automatically and are integrated in the continuous production cycle. The equipment includes all mechanical and electrical protections to be implemented into the factory s security plan. The equipment is designed to be integrated into the factory s PLC network in order to work on a nonattended way except for recommended preventive maintenance operations, with possible remote access.
