3 Cadillac Eldorado Cadillac Seville 6 isconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove C-clip on forward facing side of shift knob and pull and remove knob. (Figure ) Remove () 9/ screws on each side of the ashtray assembly and () in the middle underneath ashtray insert. (Figure ) Insert a small flat blade screwdriver in between the radio and the switch panel at top of radio and pry up and out to remove switch panel. (Figure C) Remove (4) 9/ screws () from the top (Figure -) and () from the bottom to remove radio. (Figure -) Remove the (6) retaining nuts securing the radio and climate control to the factory bracket assembly and slide the climate control outward. (Figure E) C - - SH ISSSEMLY E

4 SH ISSSEMLY Cadillac Seville Cadillac eville Concours (Console Shift) 4 isconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Remove () 9/ screws on each side of the ashtray assembly and () in the middle underneath ashtray insert. (Figure ) Insert a small flat blade screwdriver in between the radio and the switch panel at top of radio and pry up and out to remove switch panel. (Figure ) Remove () 9/ screws () from the top (Figure C-) and () from the bottom to remove radio. 6 KIT SSEMLY Cadillac Eldorado Cadillac Seville Remove all tabs except the ones marked S-E from the radio housing. (Figure ) Slide the corresponding radio housing bracket onto the until side clips engage. (Figure ) Slide the climate control assembly into the bracket / housing assembly and attach with the factory hardware. (Figure C) S-E S S-E C 4

7 Cadillac Seville Cadillac eville Concours (Console Shift) NOTE: In order to IN mount in the eville you will need to use the provided spacer as described below. There is not enough depth to ISO mount or IN mount without the spacer. Remove all tabs except the ones marked S from the radio housing. (Figure ) Slide the corresponding radio housing bracket onto the until side clips engage. (Figure ) Slide the climate control assembly into the bracket / housing assembly and attach with the factory hardware. (Figure C) S-E S S-E KIT SSEMLY 4 When IN mounting slide the included spacer onto the IN cage that came with your aftermarket radio before inserting it into the housing. (Figure ) C 5

8 Cadillac eville KIT SSEMLY NOTE: In order to IN mount in the eville you will need to use the provided spacer as described below. There is not enough depth to ISO mount or IN mount without the spacer. Remove all tabs except the ones marked from the radio housing. (Figure ) When IN mounting slide the included spacer onto the IN cage that came with your aftermarket radio before inserting it into the housing. (Figure ) S-E S S-E When installing the housing into the sub dash, use the supplied (4) phillips screws and mount in the locations shown. (Figure C) C 6

9 IN Head Unit Provision Slide the IN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. Slide the after-market head unit into the cage and secure. Snap the Trim plate into the Radio Housing. KIT SSEMLY ISO IN HE UNIT PROVISION Mount the ISO rackets to the head unit with the screws supplied with the unit. Slide the head unit into the radio opening until the side clips engage. Snap the Trim plate into the Radio Housing. 7

10 FINL SSEMLY C Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit) See figure. ) Strip wire ends back /" ) Twist ends together C) Solder ) Tape Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. Reassemble radio and dash assemblies in reverse order of disassembly. 8
