1 WINSTAR Sofware Description Winstar is a professional software package for the management of weighing operations on weighbridges. The complete package can control up to 4 weighbridges. A number of additional modules are available to fulfil other requirements (access control, billing, radioactivity management, multiple workstations, etc.). Example of configuration VIGILE Terminal GARDIANE Terminal (access control) Features A simple, user-friendly application which runs under Windows. Weighbridge PCs + printers Winstar Drive-through radioactivity contamination monitor Driven by the mouse or by use F1, F2 keys etc. The weight is displayed continuously and all the main "weighing" functions are directly accessible from the same window. Other features may be reachable directly by clicking on an icon which displays a list.

2 Weighing File management Report (totalling) The data is stored in an ACCESS database (or SQL Server which is available as an option) Communication with the weighing equipment done the main existing communication ports (USB, serial, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, etc.) A number of protocols (Arpege Master K and other manufacturers) are handled The user interface is available in a number of languages and a language editor allows others to be incorporated (Latin languages only) Access is password-protected Multi-company management is available Integrated database management utility (location, export, compression, backup). Multiple operating modes Automatic weighing with terminals and badges Semi-automatic weighing with additional information entered on the terminal by the vehicule Manual weighing with information entered by an operator.

8 Configuration Simple and explicit, configuration through screen pages Ticket editor (for configuring each type of ticket) This feature also enables specific commands to be sent to a printer (e.g. set of commands to activate paper cutting) Multiple companies This feature allows multiple companies or usage modes to be managed for the weighbridge (Material reception = Company 1, Material shipment = Company 2) with the same weighbridge. Each company has its own configuration (Filenames, tickets, etc.).

9 Event logging Connections and Peripheral Devices Weighing indicator connected via serial link, Ethernet or USB (Arpege Master K protocol only). This software is based on the Windows operating system, the print peripherals are those installed on the computer. Several dialogue protocols have been incorporated and can be included on request (please contact us).

10 MODULE RADIOACTIVE CONTAMINATION MANAGEMENT MODULE This add-on module to Winstar manages the data from a drive-through radioactivity contamination monitor. A number of models of contamination level monitor may be used (please contact us). This module records the radioactivity detected by the radioactivity system when a vehicle passes through. The value is automatically associated with the weighing operation providing full traceability for all vehicles. If the contamination threshold is exceeded, a visual alert is displayed, the contamination value is recorded and the end of weighing command is not activated (opening barrier for example). 11 MODULE MONTHLY BILLING MODULE Billing mode entails use of a tax code and unit price for each product. This mode enables monthly invoices to be produced for each customer. The invoice may be produced for the previous month or over a variable period. Invoices which have been issued may no longer be changed (they are shown highlighted).

12 MODULE BADGE SCHEDULING MODULE This module allows access to the site, the weighbridge and all other equipment controlled by the software (terminal, gate, turnstile, etc.) to be filtered. It enables access to be restricted by time slot and day using a badge. All accesses are recorded as they occur.

13 MODULE This module carries out inventory management of dynamic products Entry weighing = add to stock Exit weighing = count down of stock of the product Stocks can be readjusted at any time

14 MODULE MULTI-TERMINAL MODULE The multi-terminal module enables all - or some - of features of the Winstar application to be used on multiple workstations - view, edit data, carry out manual weighing operations, etc. Only one database is used for all client workstations. The weighing devices - and other devices controlled by the software - are connected to one workstation whose role is to communicate with them. Communication between computers is through a standard Ethernet network.
