11 What Have Been Done in Hong Kong? Proved 100% e-awb is possible since year 2011 Established a mature airline-forwarder IT connection environment Started to adopt Multi-lateral Agreement for e-awb Rollout Adopted single procedure to rollout 100% e-freight in Future Declare EAW and EAP for each Export Shipment Started to adopt IATA Standard Pouch Bar-code Label RP1600u 11

12 Is 100% e-freight Possible? 12

13 Answer is yes by starting from HKG Import 95% of import cargo cleared by electronic submission. Remaining 5% cleared by submitting additional information or physical examination by Customs. Origin Forwarder will send Invoice, Packing List and House Waybill by using their in-house system or sending to HKG Broker or Consignee. Broker or Consignee will check airline warehouse system for Customs Clearance status, print documents when only necessary. Proof of concept is planned in 1Q 2014, if no problem then we can cutover in either 3Q or 4Q Repeat this to other destinations. 13
