Chashma Site 4 units, 2 in operation, 2 under construction Unit-1, under commercial operation since Sep 15, 2000 Unit-2, commercial operation, May 18, 2011 Concept Paper on formation of CNPGS, in July 2007 Established in September, 2010 Approved by Regulatory Authority. Fully Functional with Commercial Operation of C-2.

4 What Was Purpose? To install a self sustaining resource laden, integrated organization for maintenance and engineering services. To separate routine and developmental work, in order to better deal with them and evolve capabilities for fast approaching challenges. Technical / maintenance services for common / similar equipment and systems of multiple units

5 What Was Purpose? Develop a stronger base of expertise, tools and facilities to effectively handle routine and periodic short & long terms support needs of current and future plants. Hire & manage outsourced services and gradually indigenize such capabilities
