2 01 P r o j e c t i n D e t a i l The Youth Exchange Be Aware will take place in Turkey. From 23 to 30 November Activities will be held Bursa,Turkey. It will involve 36 young participants (between 18 and 25 years old) and 4 group leaders ( 5+1 group leader total 6 participants -4 female 2 male compulsory-) from Turkey, Bulgaria, Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia and Serbia. With the Project " Be Aware!", We aim to take peoples from any age of Community; especially Academic, Judicial Personal and Education Staff to Violence Against Woman that is really big problem of mostly each country even in European Union. With the activities that have been determined by Project team and Experts of the topic, We believe that we can increase awareness about this problem. Together we will learn about each other country and experience being part of an inter cultural dialogue that we believe will lead to more tolerance and cooperation.

4 03 T r a n s p o r t a t i o n Travel Information to Bursa We advise you to fly to Sabiha Gökçen Airport There are buses for Bursa at the airport exit. Important Note for People Arriving at İstanbul Atatürk Airport : From Istanbul Ataturk Airport, you need to take the metro (Which is located within the airport) to Otogar (Coach Station). There is only one Metro line departing from the airport. It takes about 20 minutes to go to Coach Station. From the Coach Station, you need to take a bus to Bursa

5 04 V i s a & F i n a n c e Financial Conditions Travel costs of the participants will be reimbursed by bank transfer after the project, based on the travel distance per participant in accordance to the new rules of the Erasmus+ Programme. BULGARIA 170 LITHUANIA 170 SLOVAKIA 170 SERBIA 170 SPAIN 270 Travel costs means all costs (including visa costs for the partner countreys citizens) to get from the participants home to the project venue and back to home. The participants will have to bring with them all of their original tickets, receipts and boarding passes and copies of their travel documents (passports, identity cards) as we will collect all of them at the end of the project. In addition participants are required to send us all of their original return tickets, receipts and boarding passes within 1 week of their departure from the training course otherwise we will not be able to refund them.

6 Insurance Please make sure that you have a valid health insurance. If your current health insurance doesn t cover your travel, please buy an insurance (You can buy a travel insurance online and it is very cheap and easy to obtain) Visa Please check if you need to obtain a visa for entering Turkey. The visa cost will be reimbursed in full along with your travel ticket reimbursement. You can obtain your visa online at this adress: You need to print your VISA and VISA RECEIPT show it at the passport control desks at the airport. Please bring us BOTH DOCUMENTS for the purposes of reimbursement. Turkish Currency and Exchange The Turkish Currency is the Turkish Lira (TL or TRY) and today s exchange rate with regards to euro is: 1 Euro = 3,3 TL However, keep in mind that the exchange rate changes daily! We suggest that you don t change all your money at the airport as they usually take high commission. But keep in mind you will need 4TL for metro and around 15TL for shuttle as you leave the airport.

7 Reimbursement5Documents We will collect your documents for reimbursements during the project. These are very important documents and make sure that you don t loose them. We will collect all your documents during the project. It is the fourth most populous city in Turkey and one of the most industrialized metropolitan centers in the country. 9 7 W h a t t o B r i n g What you need to bring Intercultural Night: Throughout the project each country will have time to present their culture (food, dances, traditions). Please bring with you your national snacks, food, drinks, flags, traditional clothes, music, newspapers, photos, videos, presentations or whatever else you would like to present about your country. Personal Items: Bring your notebooks, cameras, laptops, tablets, etc. As a group, you may record videos, take photos and make basic editing for the videos you record. Promotion: Bring leaflets, cards, presentations of your organisations and information about your cities (to exchange with the other participants).
