1 DART for Publishers (DFP) Inventory Report DART for Publishers (DFP) Inventory Report The DART for Publishers (DFP) Inventory Report on the VIERO Enterprise Data Solutions Reporting Services website shows booked impressions by market for next week, next month, and the remainder of the current month. This report allows you to analyze website inventory at granular levels based on impressions to help you sell your website s ad inventory. If additional market access is needed, please your request to LANCustomerSupport@lanint.com with your name, the markets, and reason you need access. The reports are generated on demand. 2 Viewing the Report In Internet Explorer, access the VIERO Enterprise Data Solutions Reporting Services website, The window displays the reports to which you have access. 1. Select DFP Inventory. The Report Viewer opens. 2. Choose the Site (market). 3. Click View Report to see the results. Sample Report DFP Inventory Report 2

3 Understanding the Report The top of the report shows the market you selected and time period. Click the plus sign next to each category to drill-down to view the inventory lines with station-level detail per page position and order-level detail with the advertiser s order per station and page position. 4 Reading the Report Three groups of information are available. The top shows the header with report criteria, the next levels are the inventory lines with stationlevel detail per page position, and order detail with the advertiser s orders per station and page position. The report criteria and header include: Station Name of the station. Market Name of the market. Next Week report: o Start Date Date of the next Monday showing one full future week. o End Date Date of the Sunday at the end of the next future week. Next Month report: o Start Date First date of the next calendar month. o End Date Last date of the next calendar month. Rest of Month report: o Start Date Tomorrow s date. o End Date Last date of the current calendar month. Report Run Date Month, day, year the report is generated. The inventory line parameters include: Capacity Total capacity for a station s website. Local impressions are derived from Thumbplay DFP data. Calculations: o Daily average Total of daily impressions / 14 days o Weekly capacity Daily average x 7 days o Next month Daily average x days in the month (30) o Rest of month Daily average x [end of month (31st) tomorrow (16 th ) Booked/Contending Page position on the website and total amount booked for a station, such as 300x250 (2000). Available Capacity minus Booked. This value is negative when oversold. % Sellout Booked impressions divided by capacity displayed as a whole number. Homepage Capacity Subset of total capacity indicating the homepage portion of a station s website. DFP Inventory Report 4

5 Homepage Booked Total booked impressions on a station s website. The order detail parameters include: Ad Name Unique name for the digital ad. Standardized conventions: <market>_<name of ad>_<digital product>_<page position on website>. Examples are: losangelesca_dine LA_Branding_300, National_Toyota_Camry_300X250_12a-9:59p_AC National_Paul McCartney_AIP_ROS 728x90 Priority Level Priority number for the line, which is not part of capacity. If 0, use 8. 1 is the highest priority level. o 8 Local sold o 10 Local backfill o 12 National sold o 14 National backfill Campaign Booked Month, day, and year date range the campaign is booked to air. Included in Flight All page position numbers included in the flight, such as Page Positions Unique type of digital product with a description and number. Examples are: o Leaderboard (3330) o Bottom (3306) o Medium Rectangle (3307) o Flash Player Stand Alone (70001) o Photo Page Secondary Page Views 300x250 (7010) o Pre-roll Video (7000) DFP Inventory Report 5

6 Additional Options Option Navigate report pages Description Click the back or forward arrows to move to the previous or next report page. Click the first or last arrows to go to the first or last page of the report. To jump to a specific page, type a page number in the current page number box, and then press Enter. Magnify report Default magnification is 100%. You can select other view options from the magnification list. Search Type your search criteria in the text box, and then click Find. Click Next to locate the next instance of the criteria. Export In the Select a format list, choose how you want to save your report, and then click Export. Refresh Click the Refresh icon to restore the appearance of the current page. Print Click to open the Print dialog to print the report to your selected printer.
