2 Our Philosophy Assembly Stakeholder Foundations is based upon two core principles: The numbers do the talking. Proactive investor relations prepares the audience. Successful communication centres around education, not promotion. Using these principles as a foundation, Assembly seeks to assist its clients in delivering the right message to the right audience. Our goal is to ensure that a message translates as clearly into analysts financial models as it does a company s investor presentation.

3 Our Team Assembly s partners possess a unique background that combines extensive experience in both in-house investor relations and sell-side research. As a result, they are familiar with not only how a company s message is compiled, but also how that message is received by the capital markets. Candice Williams, CFA Candice possesses a decade of experience in equity research, and covered multiple industries as a sell-side analyst at both Canaccord Genuity and Raymond James Financial. She consistently achieved a Top 3 ranking in the Brendan Woods International Survey Quality of Investment Ideas, Quality of Research, and Quality of Analysis Categories. In 2011, she was recognized as a Top Analyst in the Retail sector by StarMine and The Globe & Mail. Candice is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, where she received a Bachelor of Commerce and served as a member of the Portfolio Management Foundation. Nathan Sellyn Nathan possesses nearly a decade of experience in stakeholder communications, and served as the primary investor relations representative at Canada s largest public gaming corporation. In this role, he developed an extensive background in direct investor communication and crisis management, developing strong relationships with both research analysts and investors, in addition to a familiarity with strategic growth narratives. A graduate of Princeton University, Nathan is also the author of Indigenous Beasts, which in 2006 received the Danuta Gleed Award for Canada s best debut fiction collection. Christina Strashek, CFA Christina possesses a decade of industry experience, and most recently served as Vice President of the Retail Products Group at Canaccord Genuity. In this role, she gained extensive familiarity with retail syndication and the placing of equity offerings within the retail system, in addition to developing a specialization in Real Estate Investment Trusts. Christy holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia. Colin Garner, PEng Colin possesses nearly a decade of international mining experience, and served for several years as an Associate at Genuity Capital Markets. His areas of expertise include project planning, feasibility studies, and internal budgeting across multiple geographies, including Australia, Western Africa, Canada, and the United States. Colin is a graduate of the Norman B. Keevil Institute of Mining Engineering at the University of British Columbia, where he received a Bachelor of Applied Science with a Minor in Commerce.

8 Appendix Detailed Services Strategic Support Assembly s partners provide dedicated and timely counsel to our clients regarding suggested tactics for managing capital markets relationships and expectations. This counsel is intended to not only grow awareness of our clients and their strategic objectives, but also to protect and grow their credibility. We frequently make use of our capital market relationships to contact institutional investors and research analysts on our clients behalf, gathering knowledge about current equity market trends, patterns, or company specific concerns. Assembly also creates an investor marketing calendar for each of our clients. This calendar reflects our recommendations with regards to attendance at investment conferences, as well as suggested timing and strategies for both institutional and retail marketing efforts. Industry and Market Awareness Assembly understands how critical it is for our clients to remain informed regarding the most recent developments, both within their industry and among their competitors. We monitor news flow within our clients sectors and the valuations of their peers in an effort to ensure our clients are as informed as possible. On alternating weeks, Assembly provides qualitative and quantitative summaries to our clients management teams. Qualitative summaries highlight peer news and overall market trends while quantitative summaries focus on valuations, trading information, and shifts in share ownership. 9 Appendix Detailed Services Disclosure Assistance Assembly seeks to serves as a key contributor in both the drafting and editing of our client s formal disclosures, including : Press releases, for both financial reporting and material events Management s Discussion and Analysis of financial results Narrative portions of the Annual Report to Shareholders Throughout all these documents, Assembly strives to ensure that our clients key messages are presented within the framework of a consistent and engaging narrative. Investor Presentations An investor presentation represents both a concise summary of a company s investment highlights and a key point of introduction for new shareholders. At Assembly, we take pride in creating investor presentations that combine a clear message with contemporary design. Our presentations both appeal to potential shareholders and address those issues that the investment community believes to be of greatest importance to our clients success. Conference Calls Conference calls present a unique opportunity to engage in a simultaneous, public dialogue with all of a company s investors and analysts. Assembly takes the lead in the drafting and editing of executive scripts for our clients calls. This preparation includes the creation of a Q&A document intended to both predict and respond to likely analyst queries. Our goal is to ensure that our clients are fully equipped for a conference call that speaks proactively to their investors interests and concerns.

10 Appendix Detailed Services Shareholder Communication Assembly engages directly with our clients retail investors and manages incoming inquiries from this group of investors. We also maintain close working relationships with firms that specialize in retail investor outreach, and frequently coordinate logistics with these firms in order to connect our clients with an active base of retail shareholders. We believe it is important for our clients executive teams to remain the primary point of contact for institutional investors and equity analysts. However, we actively assist management in preparing for these conversations in order to develop investor and analyst expectations that accurately reflect our clients prospects and future performance. Expectations Monitoring For each our clients, Assembly both creates and maintains an expectations matrix that facilitates easy tracking of research analysts consensus expectations. This matrix includes details of published research that are frequently overlooked by data providers (Bloomberg and Capital IQ), and helps identify the issues that hold the greatest importance to the investment community. We also recognize that merely surveying published research may not reveal all of these key issues. As a result, we may, on an intermittent basis, utilize our capital market relationships to gather analysts underlying financial models. This practice not only facilitates a better understanding of each analyst s underlying assumptions, but also allows Assembly to create an anonymous, detailed expectations grid. This grid highlights areas of misunderstanding or misinformation that may not be readily apparent in published research.
