2 2017 Tuxes & Tails As a regional leading resource for pets and pet services, the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) is making Louisville and surrounding areas a better place for our four-legged friends and the people who love them. Founded in 1884, KHS is the oldest animal welfare organization and the largest pet adoption agency in the state. In 2016 KHS found loving homes for more than 6,100 dogs and cats; children learned the importance of responsible pet ownership through summer camp and in-classroom programs; and our high-quality, donor-supported S.N.I.P. Clinic spayed/neutered nearly than 10,000 animals, bringing the total to more than 92,000 surgeries performed since the clinic opened in KHS is able to serve the animals and people of our community thanks to the generous support of our private donors and corporate partners. Our signature fundraising gala and auction TUXES &TAILS, presented by Brown-Forman, will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Marriott East. With this year s theme, The Wizard of Pawz There s No Place Like Home, it s going to be a magical night. Your sponsorship of this special evening for the animals will ensure a truly unforgettable experience for your guests and generate valuable exposure for your business and brand to a targeted audience of more than 400 high-level donors. The event features hors d oeuvres, open bar, silent and live auctions, delicious dinner, music, fun games and of course, adorable adoptable animals.
