Clarkesville Main Street strives to produce top-rated events that the entire family can enjoy! So that we can offer these events either low-cost or free of charge for attendees, we welcome sponsorships to help offset event expenses. These events take place throughout the year and attract various ages and interest groups. Clarkesville Main Street s signature events provide you and your business the opportunity to sponsor five differently designed events that attract guests from all over the Southeast, while providing our local community residents more intimate activities for the entire family. 3 Clarkesville With all the pizzazz of jazz and beyond the heartiest of parties, prepare for the largest party this side of the mountains! Clarkesville Main Street presents the 5th Annual Clarkesville Mardi Gras, an extravagant affair designed to raise funds for the Main Street Façade Grant Program. The event will be held at 6pm on Saturday, February 25th at the Habersham Event Center (Old Clarkesville Mill). Admission to the event is $30/pp and includes a New Orleans-style dinner, a live DJ, dancing, a cash bar, silent auction, crowning of the King and Queen, a photo booth and party favors! This award-winning event has SOLD OUT every year! 4 Friday Night Live is Clarkesville s signature third Friday social event! Designed to drive traffic to our downtown businesses, the event takes place each month from April-August. 5 Movies on Main is a collaboration of Clarkesville Main Street and Habersham Community Theater (HCT). The event brings classic films to the big screen in Clarkesville s original movie-house! 2017 will mark our third year of Movies on Main. Four Movies on Main events will be held at HCT in April, June, September and November. The first two years were a huge success. In order to keep the event low cost to the public, we need sponsorships to help pay for the expenses of advertising, movie licensing, sound, & production. 6 Light up Clarkesville on Saturday, October 7th at the 2nd Annual Glow in the Park: Clarkesville Glow Run an evening of family fun, where you can take part in a 5k run dressed to the hilt with glow sticks and all things bright and shiny.
