ABOUT THE CENTER In its 11th year, Dancing with the Stars Austin is the biggest dance party of the year with glamour, glitz and memorable routines. We hope you will join us for an extraordinary evening benefiting young victims of abuse in Travis County. The Center for Child Protection is dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse in our community through advocacy, education and community support. Because of your unwavering support, the Center is able to provide intervention and prevention services to children and their families during the investigation and prosecution of crimes against children. In 2016, the Center conducted 1,235 forensic interviews, provided 5,297 services to children and 5,008 services to adults. Together, we continue to serve more children and educate more adults on how to prevent child abuse.
