18 Lessons learnt A core banking is an accelerator to set-up a BI platform BI coupled to core banking increase your knowledge about the core banking data Pay attention to avoid developing too many requests on the enterprise layer Give priority to build datamarts Put in place the right balanced governance between Business and IT Project methodology with the right deliverables is not straight forward Don t underestimate the time to get power users involved SAP BO 4.1 delivers what was expected : BI functions, integrated BI suite, easy skills sourcing People are key to succeed : Business - IT Partners 2016 SAP SE or an SAP affiliate company.
