3 Executive Summary The purpose of this demonstration is to provide enough functional and technical details about our readily deployable Retail & CPG s driver based planning, forecasting & budgeting solutions, enabled by SAP HANA technologies. In this demo, Viewers will learn about our out of the box analytics capabilities, including planning, forecasting, simulations, scenario analysis, and business insights. Also users will learn how our pre-configured solutions will cut-down the implementation time, and risk and cost. Our readily deployable solution facilitates data collection and performs currency conversion on entities data. Differences, which arise out of currency conversion, are posted through Journals. And, the solution allows users to create scenario baselines which can then be (what-if) analysed for various scenarios by simulating the drivers values. The solution provides reports which show the variance between the actuals and the plan/scenario data.

4 Executive Summary Our solution also performs rolling forecast for P & L items and allows SKU level and top down planning for various products. Apart from that, the solution performs cost allocation for various expenses which becomes the target for the concerned entity/product. Our advanced analytics solution, for Retail and CPG, adopts real-time data acquisition from SAP ECC through SAP landscape transformation (SLT) and near real-time data acquisition from non-sap and external systems through Business Objects Data Services (BODS) Users will experience our hosted solutions over an Amazon cloud infrastructure (AWS).

This has often resulted in erroneous planning or counterproductive use of time. 7 SAP BPC 10 NW - Out Of the Box Functions Controls are used to validate entities data to ensure that the data is accurate. For example, Assets equal Liabilities in the balance sheet data. Journals are used to adjust data when there are differences which arise after currency conversion. Currency Translation is done using business rules without the use of any script. Work Status feature is used to lock a segment of the data. For example, consolidated balance sheet data can be locked so that changes are no more allowed. Planning functions, such as Trend, Spread & Weight, can be used within the reports/input forms to analyse & simulate the plan/forecast data.
