Bioenergie transforms them in safe and clean energy. It s a duty that renews itself day by day, turning into a firm policy aimed to a 360 exploitation of the renewable sources available in our country. Whether it s biomasses, wind, photovoltaic or biogas, Bioenergie is a synonym for clean energy coming from nature. All this, in accordance with the tightest safety and environmental standards.
brochure03.pdf 1 5/5/10 5:34 PM WHO WE ARE C M Y CM MY CY CMY K Bioenergie is the Italian leading Group in the production of electrical energy from virgin biomass of vegetal origin, and the first national pole that realizes and manages up-todate power plants for the production of energy from biomasses according to the highest environmental and safety standards. The Group is owner of the power plant at Bando di Argenta (Fe), with a productive capacity of about 20 net electrical MW, and is shareholder in Biomasse Italia SpA (Kr), proprietary and managing company of the power plants sited in Crotone and Strongoli, with a production capacity of around 20 net electrical MW and 40 net electrical MW respectively. Besides, the Group is committed to the development of projects for the production of electrical energy from liquid and solid biomasses, biogases, photovoltaic and wind plants.
San Marco Bioenergie Solid biomass power plants of Bando d Argenta San Marco Bioenergie company owns the management of the biomass power plant of bando d Argenta. With an installed power of about 20 net MW, is the biggest among the biomass ones in northern and central Italy and with its net electrical efficiency of over 25% ranks among the most efficient plants of its kind. GROUP COMPANIES

The company designs, develops, finances and implements projects and power plants for the energetic valorization of biogas, vegetable oils, kinetic energy and solar energy. Bio Green Energy, using the best technologies available on the market is able to develop the project, manages the authorization process, plan in detail all construction plant, implement and provide not only the putting into service, but also the carrying out of the management, ensuring high levels of productivity. The company also collaborates with Universities, research Organizations, environmental Associations, government institutions, investing in research and development in order to test new and emerging technologies for a "clean" and sustainable development. 8 brochure08.pdf 1 4/30/10 12:03 PM WIND ENERGY C M Y CM MY CY CMY An opportunity for farms A biogas plant allows to convert ecologically organic wastes of livestock in reusable fertilizers, also producing clean energy reliably and efficiently, rather than dispersing into the atmosphere the methane originated from the decomposition of manure. Bio Green is currently engaged in the design and construction of plants in Lombardia, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Molise, Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia. To capture energy from the currents Wind energy is a technology that can transform the kinetic energy of wind into electricity through turbines that new technologies have made quieter and more efficient. Bio Green is currently developing wind farms in Puglia. K
PHOTOVOLTAIC VEGETAL OIL To capture sunlight and to transform it into clean energy A photovoltaic system can transform the energy associated to solar radiation into electrical energy. The sun is an inexhaustible source available abundantly in our country. Bio Green is currently engaged in the production of photovoltaic systems on the ground, greenhouses, and roofs throughout Italy. Energy from liquid biomass Vegetable oils and waste of squeezing of the plant seeds are an excellent fuel". Cogeneration plants of vegetable oil generate energy with many environmental and economic benefits. Bio Green currently is developing plants in many Italian regions.
Founded in 1997, Biomasse Italia SpA can be considered as a landmark in the national field of energy production from renewable sources (solid biomass), fully respecting the environment and being aware of its own industrial and technological role in developing the national energy policy, oriented towards an energetic supply system, sustainable in the long term. Bio Trade is a company with a proven expertise in biomass and development of local supply chains agro-energy. It is the fuel company of Biomasse Italia. GROUP COMPANIES

RESEARCH AND INNOVATION FOR THE ENVIRONMENT Biotema is a research company that, under the guidance of some businessmen and university professors, is trying to find new renewable sources from which extracting raw materials for biofuels. Among the not agricultural sources, the cultivation of microalgae is of particular interest for the use of energetic targets. For this purpose the company is currently conducting an experiment that may help to collect information useful for designing a system on an industrial scale. GROUP COMPANIES
