Clean Cabins, Wash Laundry. Provide maintenance at the resort, fix things, load rafts/paddle boards and unload them, provide lawn care. Paint stuff, mow lawns, plant flowers, water grass and trees. Collect trash. Work outside every day. Physical job. Students to prepare to push, lift, bend, stand for a long time. Hot, sunny, dry weather conditions Food & Beverage Associate: Ice-Cream Scooper / Waiter / Server / Busser / Kitchen Prep Excellent English. Females Only: Take orders from customers, serve meals, provide drinks, work as cashier, clean restaurant. All students to work as Cashier. Server experience is a plus. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers. Serving customers at the counter and the table. Ability to operate with U.S. money and credit cards. Operate the cash register. Scoop Ice-Cream. Greet customers and provide them with a service in a timely manner. Clean the table, floor and whole restaurant area if needed. Help with dish washing. Assist in food preparation. Be prepared to work in a high pace environment and hot environment. Stand and walk for long periods of time Housekeeper/Laundry Clean Cabins. Wash customers laundry. Collect trash. Work outside and inside. Help with maintenance Prep Cook/Cook/Cashier - Cook, work as cashier, chop ingredients, clean the area, wash dishes. Must be able to read English and understand specific instructions. Cook soup, prepare salads, sandwiches. Need to be ready to perform Dishwasher/Busser job as well. Be prepared to work in a high pace environment and hot environment. Stand and walk for long periods of time Students have to be flexible to work at any positions at the isolated and busy resort in Utah Students have to be interactive, outgoing, willing to try, positive minded, attitude to just get it done, special skills are a plus like waitress experience, cashiering, kitchen experience ENGLISH LEVEL Good/Intermediate/Advance EMPLOYMENT POSITION INFORMATION WORK DATES Earliest Work Start: May 15 th Latest Work Start: June 15 th Earliest Work End: September 4 th Latest Work End: September 30 th HOURLY RATE PAY Maintenance/Raft Shop/Houseman/Housekeeper - $9.00 per regular hour. No OT, as seasonal employer. Some tips available Food & Beverage Associate - $2.25 per regular hour +tips or at least $8.00 per hour. No OT, as seasonal employer Housekeeper/Laundry - $8.00 per regular hour. No OT, as seasonal employer. Some tips available Prep Cook/Cook/Cashier - $8.00 per regular hour. Some tips available AVERAGE # OF HOURS 35+ average hours for the whole program (not guaranteed) per week (After orientation, training & achievement of satisfactory performance). Some

Good personal hygiene is a must, including daily shower and bath and use of deodorant. No visible tattoos or facial piercing during work REASONABLE EXPECTATION Much depends on the economic conditions in the U.S. during your employment here. We can make no guarantee of overtime or the availability of second (part-time) jobs. If you find a part time job, please make sure that you prioritize your obligation to your primary employer. J-1 Participants are not allowed to get a part time/new job without sponsor s approval and vetting A few people will be able to get a 2 nd job with another company here in the Dutch John. Most will not. It is nothing employer can arrange. Students should expect to work good hours at the primary job, which will also depends on their work ethic. Services are administered or provided by Daggett County. The community is located at 6324 feet above sea level and has a population that varies from nearly 250 in the summer to about 150 during the winter months. The Flaming Gorge Dam is only 3 miles from Dutch John. The Bureau of Reclamation offers guided tours of the Dam and powerplant during the summertime. The Visitors Center is open year round. Other nearby places to visit include the US Forest Service Visitor s Center at Red Canyon, the Swett Ranch, Ute Tower Lookout, the Cedar Springs Marina and a little farther away is the Jarvie Ranch in Brown s Park. Dutch John has an airport with a paved landing strip, 6000 feet in length. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Your job may not be available if you arrive late. Please note that you are responsible for verifying your university schedule prior to your travel arrangements. You must obtain approval from Janus International and/or your employer of any changes in your Job Start or Job Ending dates prior to your arrival in the U.S. If your employer is unable to accept that change, they have the right to cancel your Job Agreement.
