11 Rubric The Internal Auditors Committee Working together Joining the programme means participating to the work of the Internal Auditors Committee and the work of the Internal Audit Function in the ECB, the NCBs and the NCAs. The Internal Audit Functions of the ECB, the NCBs and the NCAs work together to protect the assets, reputation and sustainability of the Eurosystem and SSM. The Internal Auditors Committee acts as Chief Audit Executive and co-ordinates activities which aim to improve governance, risk management and controls. The IAC conducts audits in the following domains: Banknotes Information Technology Monetary Policy, Financial Stability and Market Operations Management Support Payments, Securities and Market Infrastructure Banking Supervision Statistics 11

12 Rubric Giving you the right tools A dedicated two months training curriculum We have especially designed a training curriculum made of both classroom sessions and on-the-job assignments at the ECB and in the Eurosystem/SSM. The curriculum encompasses five phases: Introduction to Central Banking and Banking Supervision Internal auditing: procedures, working methods and audit approaches Applied auditing work on specific internal audit missions at the ECB Assignments in up to two others NCBs/NCAs (8 months in total, from December 2018 until July 2019) Collaboration in a system-wide IAC activity at the ECB (August- September 2019) 12
