5 hrs: Valedictory Session A Roadmap for Rupee Internationalization Moderated by: Dr Ajit Ranade Member, CII Economic Affairs Council and Senior President & Group Chief Economist, Corporate Economics Cell Aditya Birla Group The CII in collaboration with British High Commission has conducted a study on Internationalization of Rupee and accordingly prepared a detailed Roadmap on the subject. The study examines India s prospects as the next globalized currency, best practices of current internationalized currencies that ought to be adopted and has provided recommendations to set its journey along that path. CII has closely analysed UK s expertise to develop an action plan towards an International market for the Rupee.
