3 CORPORATE PAYROLL SANDRINGHAM CLERK: PAYROLL (X3 POSITIONS) B4 CORPFIN0318/ : To administer and capture payroll related input documents to ensure that lawful and accurate deductions and payments are made to employees and relevant third parties e.g. pension fund, SARS in accordance with payroll and HR related policies and procedures To prepare and compile all documents [ s, written instructions, reversals, due by s, miscellaneous, negative net, death cases, etc.] for presentation to the Payroll Bookkeeper / Payroll Controller / HR Archives and keep the documents in a central point [file] To liaise with employees and relevant third parties and follow up when needed in order to resolve service related issues / queries and to maintain a positive image of the organisation To perform simple reconciliation procedure for verification and resolution e.g. leave payments, pension fund contributions, back payments etc. To liaise with lawyers regarding garnishee orders to ensure that employees still maintain a usable take home pay To check input against reports to ensure that all corrections are done timeously To resolve all GL queries within 30 days [cleared off] and to keep a concise paper trail with regular updates on actions taken To ensure that all payroll queries on own error does not exceed 0.25% of payroll headcount To perform other / ad hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
