This is no easy task and has required persistence, education, experience, and maybe even learning a few things through the school of hard knocks. One of the primary tasks of management is to navigate through the maze of responsibilities, accountabilities, and regulatory or legal requirements associated with employee injuries. Managing employee injuries is one of those topics they don t teach you about in school, yet a mistake can be very costly to your company! At the conclusion of this course, you will learn: the parameters of statutory workers compensation rules, the basics of Workers Compensation insurance, how to create a safety-minded culture, and building a sound risk management program. FEBRUARY 5 OSHA RECORD KEEPING COURSE DESCRIPTION: OSHA implemented a new rule that requires employers to post their OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 forms electronically. Find out whether your organization is required to post their OSHA logs publicly. Many employers struggle to determine whether an accident/illness is recordable. In this course, we will discuss the criteria set forth by OSHA to determine if a case is recordable and how to complete the necessary logs. 4
5 FEBRUARY 26 MARCH 5 UNDERSTANDING YOUR PENNSYLVANIA WORKERS' COMPENSATION EXPERIENCE MOD COURSE DESCRIPTION: Have you ever wondered how your PA Workers Compensation experience mod is calculated? Have you ever been surprised by a mod that increased significantly? Would it benefit your organization to know a year in advance what your experience mod will be and what kind of impact it will that have on your premium? APRIL 2 OSHA HAZARD COMMUNICATION TRAINING COURSE DESCRIPTION: Make sure your company is in full compliance with OSHA s standard This course will review the OSHA standard, define GHS, examine chemical safety, and discuss physical & health hazards, as well as personal protective equipment. At the end of the course, your employees will be able to interpret the new GHS formatted labels and navigate the 16 sections of the new Safety Data Sheets. We will also review the 9 standard pictograms and provide you with an overview of the NFPA 704 classification system. 5

The course instructor is certified as a Defensive Driver Trainer by the National Safety Council. During this one hour seminar, your drivers will learn techniques to prevent or minimize motor vehicle accidents. Insurance carriers recognize this course for drivers with MVR issues. Some Personal Auto carriers will also recognize this course for premium discounts. This course covers: The 10 Habits of Defensive Driving, RUA Formula, the What If Formula, Conditions You Can & Cannot Control, Steering Out of a Skid, Seat Belts & Air Bag Safety, The 6 Most Unsafe Driving Behaviors, and Impaired/ Distracted/Fatigued Driving. 7 JUNE 4 JUNE 18 SEXUAL HARASSMENT COURSE DESCRIPTION: Learn about Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and other laws regarding workplace harassment. Learn what harassment is and isn t and train your employees to recognize and report harassment. By the conclusion of this webinar, you will be able to identify unwelcome behaviors and hostile work environments and your employees, managers and supervisors will understand their responsibilities.
