1 Request for Price Proposal Transit Vehicle Decals Production & Installation The Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) is a North Carolina Transportation Authority created under NC General Statutes 160A, Article 27, and provides public transit services throughout the Piedmont Triad Region. PART is requesting price proposals from qualified companies to provide vehicle wrap to PART Express transit fleet vehicles to incorporate a new exterior image. The information below contains the detailed specifications related to the work to be performed by the selected firm. Please your completed documentation and associated price proposal to davidm@partnc.org or mail to 107 Arrow Road, Greensboro, NC, Project proposals should be submitted no later than February 19, 2018 by 4 PM EST. Specifications: This project consists of up to 23 vehicles including 40 foot Orion VII NG buses and 24 foot Champion Challengers. Final number of vehicles being wrapped with new decal design is contingent on pricing received. Provide your pricing details separated between 40 buses, and 24 LTV cutaway vehicles. The vehicle wrap has been designed and will look identical to the new fleet vehicle design PART has implemented with the purchase of new fleet vehicles. This new artwork needs to be completed in a timely manner, and a schedule of planned wrap design and installation should be included as part of the proposal submission. A list of vehicles is attached, as well as images of the new design that would be wrapped on the vehicles to be consistent with the new fleet vehicle design. The color codes for three colors to be utilized are as below. These color codes are consistent with the vehicle painting that has been utilized in the new fleet vehicles received with updated exterior design. White: AXALTA, N5793 EX, Imron Elite Express, 3.5 VOC, Single Stage Gloss Black: AXALTA, EX, Imron Elite Express, 3.5 VOC, Single Stage Coke Red 2000: AXALTA, EX, Imron Elite Express, 3.5 VOC, Single Stage Please include detailed costs associated with printed graphics, removal of existing graphics (without causing damage to paint) and installation costs in the estimate submitted. Any need for questions, and or clarification should be submitted to supriyar@partnc.org, no later than February 9, 2018 EST. Any request for clarification and associated response may be shared with all firms included in this solicitation. The lowest priced, most responsive and responsible bidder will be given priority for contract award.

6 General Guidelines: These points are to be included in your pricing. Supplier must provide PART, prior to any production, printed samples using actual inks & films for approval. Supplier must visit the PART location to take needed measurements and gather information for sizing as needed. All graphics will be warranted for a 5-Year period and must be permanent in nature but have a removable characteristic to facilitate removal at use-end in case of any vehicle damage and needed repair. All graphics will be 3M Vinyl Laminate. Graphics must be installed by 3M Vinyl Laminate Certified Installer. Supplier must provide documentation of all warranties. Provide pricing for both 40 buses, and 24 LTV cutaway vehicles. Provide a schedule for project completion from the date of an awarded contract and PART agency Purchase Order. Verify location for vehicle wrap installation. In addition to complete decal sets, supplier must have the capability to show pricing and availability of replacement panels in the event of accident damage. Transit Fleet Review: It is recommended that firms schedule a visit to review the transit fleet. Understanding of the project details and associated labor, material, equipment and installation requirements. 2. Detailed price proposal with break out of material and labor to complete task. Pricing shown for both vehicle types; 40 bus, and 24 LTV cutaway. 3. Provide cost details and narrative of work you will perform. 4. Fully reviewed and executed Federal/State certifications and assurances. 5. Submit all information by February 19, 2018, 4:00 PM EST.

7 The requirements of the Federal and State Certifications and Assurances are non-negotiable. All forms must be signed and returned in order for a contractual agreement to be executed.
