Health: All animals will be accompanied by proper health certificates, making them eligible for interstate shipment. Prospective buyers should make themselves aware of health requirements for their respective states. Breeding: Bred females have been pregnancy examined safe in calf by a licensed veterinarian. Updated breeding information will be made available on sale day. Vaccination Program: Heifers were weaned on October 1st. On October 20th, they were given Bovi-Shield Gold One Shot and back poured with Dectomax Pour On. Bangs vaccinations were administered as well. 6 Continental & Continental Cross 4 Bijou Creek Livestock Glenn BenjamiN County Road 125 SIMLA, CO glennbenjamin@hotmail.com 11 HEAD BIJOU CREEK Livestock SIMANGUS 9 Months These ¼ Simmental ¾ Angus heifers are from the heart of the Glenn Benjamin replacement females. They are sired by half blood Simmental bulls that were selected for balanced EPD traits. All were born unassisted in April The cows in the Benjamin herd have been selected for fertility, soundness and adequate milk with easy fleshing ability to survive on a forage diet with very little supplemental feed. The heifers are gentle and easy to handle on foot or horseback. They were weaned in the middle of October. Vaccination Program: At branding, they were given UltraBac 7/Somnus and Bovi-Shield Gold 5. At preconditioning, they received Cattle Master 5 Gold, One Shot Pasteurella and Multi Min 90. At weaning, they again received a 7-way booster, another Bovi-Shield Gold 5 and poured with Dectomax. In December, they were officially calfhood vaccinated and just prior to the National Western Stock Show, the heifers will receive an Ivermectin injection. They were born in March/April They were weaned on November 10, 2017 weighing approximately 560 pounds. They were fed free choice millet and grass hay and 10 lbs of grain per day from December 1 until NWSS. Our ranch was homesteaded in We are the 4th and 5th generations to operate the ranch, raising choice feeders and fancy heifers. Vaccination Program: Bovi-Shield Gold One-Shot; Vision 7 Somus at branding and weaning. At weaning, they were back poured with Ivermectin. These heifers were weaned in 2016 in Elbert County on grass and cake. They were developed through the winter and spring on grass, alfalfa/grass hay and cake. We develop all of our replacement heifers for the registered seed stock herd in this fashion to ensure they can make a living under range conditions. These heifers will calve at 22 to 24 months of age. Eligible for registration with the American Red Angus Association. Registry Certificates available upon request at $100 per head. Breeding Information: These females are pasture exposed to Silver Spur bred and raised calving ease, Red Angus bulls and will calve February 15 - March 30. Vaccination Program: These heifers were given Inforce 3, OneShot BVD and Vision 7 Somnus at weaning and Bovi-Shield Gold FP5-VL5 and Vision 7 at prebreeding. They were boostered with Bovi-Shield Gold FP5-VL5 and poured with Cydectin at initial palpation in September. These females will have had two rounds of Guardian scour vaccine prior to the sale date Montana Angus Female Bonanza J & L Livestock CONNEALY COUNTDOWN Joe & Linda Goggins 4935 Powmer Road BILLINGS, MT bred ANGUS heifers 22 MONTHS or joegoggins1967@gmail.com lindagoggins@yahoo.com This is a fancy, high-quality set of bred heifers that have momma cow written all over them. They all originated out of high-performing cow herds in Montana and are all sired by Vermilion Angus Bulls. Their steer mates always weigh 700 lbs in mid-october. They have a Montana Angus Cow look. Breeding Information: A.I. bred one round to one of the super stars of the breed, Connealy Countdown, cleaned up with half brother sons of Countdown. 95% of the calves will be by Countdown and 5% will be by the Countdown sons. Connealy Countdown is proving himself as one of the elite calving ease bulls of the Angus breed. His calves come light, early and have a whole lot of get up and go at birth. They are very uniform in their kind and makeup. Best of all, they have a lot of grow and performance. No question, Countdown is the best calving ease bull we have ever used at the Vermilion Ranch. He has a CED of +10 & a BW of A.I. bred on May 5 to 21; Due to calve from February 21 through March 11, This group is carrying mixed sex calves. They have that Montana Angus Cow look. Breeding Information: Bred to one of the young super stars of the breed, May-Way Equity. Equity has surfaced as the leading, calving-ease son of the now deceased Barstow Cash. Equity calves come light and easy at birth with plenty of strength and vigor. The Equity calves perform with more growth than typical calving ease genetics, posting impressive weights at weaning with extra depth of body, length of side and eye appeal. He has a CED of +9 and BW of -0.0 while maintaining a WW of +62 and YW of A.I. bred on May 8 to 15; Due to calve from February 10 through 21, These groups are all carrying heifer calves. 11 19 Silver Spur Ranches RangeFire Composite bred heifers bred and raised at Silver Spur Ranches, Kiowa Division. This composite is 1/2 Red Angus and 1/2 Charolais. These heifers were weaned in 2016 in Elbert County on grass and cake. They were developed through the winter and spring on grass, alfalfa/grass hay and cake. We develop all of our replacement heifers for the registered seed stock herd in this fashion to ensure they can make a living under range conditions. These heifers will calve at 22 to 24 months of age. The RangeFire females have been PAP tested by Dr. Tim Holt at 6800 feet as yearlings and are 43 or less.eligible for registration with the American Red Angus Association. Registry Certificates available upon request at $100 per head. Breeding Information: These females are pasture exposed to Silver Spur bred and raised calving ease, Red Angus bulls and will calve February 15 - March 30. Vaccination Program: These heifers were given Inforce 3, OneShot BVD and Vision 7 Somnus at weaning and Bovi-Shield Gold FP5-VL5 and Vision 7 at prebreeding. They ran on grass this summer at 6000 ft and they are currently on hay and silage. They were wintered in Carpenter, WY at our growyard on alfalfa hay, corn silage, and 2 lbs. of dry distillers grain until they were bred. In October, they returned to Carpenter and have been on a silage and hay ration. Breeding Information: Bred A.I. on May 16 to May 27, one on June 15 to Slider and JSAR Titan. Ultrasound safe to the A.I. dates on August 30. Due to start calving around mid February. Vaccination Program: Vaccinated with Vira Shield VL5 and Blackleg, and poured with Cleanup. They were wintered in Carpenter, WY at our growyard on alfalfa hay, corn silage, and 2 lbs. of dry distillers grain until they were bred. In October, they returned to Carpenter and have been on a silage and hay ration. Breeding Information: Bred to Redemption, the #1 Red Angus calving ease sire. A.I bred on May 16 thru June 3.
