4 National Fruit Fly Council The Council was funded and established in late 2015 Independent Chair Jon Durham Darryl Barbour has been appointed as National Manager Developed of a Communications Strategy to inform and schedule the Council s promotion of fruit fly activities and improve engagement. The Council has also welcomed its six industry representatives. These members cover the range of fruit fly management issues, from Pest Free Areas, through to managing established populations, and the two economic species, MedFly and QFly.
