5 Mr Naboth Tinarwo is founding Director of FoodBev International Consulting (Pty) Ltd. He is a Food Technologist and a Lean Manufacturing Specialist who has 15 years of experience working in the food and beverage manufacturing industry where he held production and technical management positions and managed a number of successful Kaizen projects most notably with Lantmannen Unibake UK. Naboth is adept in carrying our scoping and business diagnostics. He worked as a Lean Specialist in delivering EU (ERDF) Food and Drink Growth Programme in the UK. He also has a wealth of experience in food manufacturing consultancy, business improvement and delivering industrial training in bespoke food technologies, food Safety, HACCP, Quality Systems e.g. ISO 9001 and bespoke food specific technologies e.g. Dairy and Bakery. Naboth holds an MBA in International Business, a MSc. Strategic Quality Management and BSc. Food Science and Technology along with NEBOSH, Green Belt Six Sigma, Food Safety and HACCP professional qualifications. Charles is a Veterinary Doctor by training and a business entrepreneur by passion and experience. Charles was involved in the founding of Impact Research International Pty Ltd ( in 2006 (currently hold position of Finance Director and Agriculture and rural development Director since its inception). In 2014 Charles was involved in the founding and establishment of FoodBev International Pty Ltd ( Since its inception FoodBev has conducted several trainings and consultancy in Food Companies and Testing Laboratories in South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mauritius and Swaziland. Dr Katsande has worked in the Veterinary Services for more than 20 years. He has a BSc (Biochemistry honours) degree, a BVSc degree and a Master of Veterinary Science degree from the University of Queensland, Australia. He is also involved in running veterinary public health research projects on hygiene monitoring and microbiological validation studies in abattoirs in Gauteng Province South Africa. Dr Benoit Gnonlonfin (PhD, MSc, BSc) Food safety and nutrition security specialist Senior Consultant and Regional Representative (East Africa) Office Number: +27 (0) Cell: Tel benoit@foodbevconsult.co.za Dr Benoit Gnonlonfin is a Food Safety and Nutrition Security expert with vast experience in microbiology and aflatoxins research. He holds an MSc in Applied Microbiology from the University of Botswana and a PhD in Food Safety from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He served as scientist at the Agricultural Research and Food Science and Technology Center, National Agricultural Research Institute, Benin and has managed different projects on food science and technology (pre- and post-harvest and food safety). Recently Benoit has consulted and built capacity in many African countries including Ghana, Mali, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Senegal, The Gambia, Zambia on aflatoxin analysis and sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) issues along priority food value chains. Has served as Technical Officer for Partnership for Aflatoxin Control in Africa (PACA) based at the African Union Commission, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Previously he was a postdoctoral scientist in the BecA - CSIRO partnership project: "Capacity and Action for Aflatoxin Reduction in Eastern Africa (CAAREA)". Benoit has strong field experience working with farmers, developers and extension services from eastern, central, southern and western Africa. He has wide experience in the development of mycotoxin diagnosis and analysis and established the BecA shared mycology-mycotoxin and nutrition platform as well as a mycology platform at Mikocheni Agricultural Research Institute (MARI), Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
