3 What? Provision of Goat rising at the Blaan community - This is a new project concept to help my community - No project like this implemented in the community

4 Why? - Goat rising is the best livestock project that could help the communities easily. It has good marketing at the neighboring place. - Our place easily to rise livestock like this because it has a lot of grass for the consumption of the draft animals. - The project is my personal proposal. - The community will be organized and will support the implementation of the project - The community will establish policies for the implementation of the project

18 Project Description It is focused on livelihood Project and that is Provision of goat rising The project will be implemented in partnership with the community members Direct beneficiaries will generate an income There will be second line beneficiaries to be identified by the community members The waste of the livestock will use for organic fertilizers 18

To develop skills among the care taker on rising goats. To lessen the poverty incidence among first line beneficiaries in this project. 21

22 Outcomes 15 household received the livestock project. 15 household improved their economic situation. Estimated 40 children supported by the parents went to school. Farmers in the community learned the use of the organic fertilizers 22

29 Sustainability Plan The policies for the implementation of the project should ensure to implement it through proper monitoring The second line beneficiaries will also encourage to monitor the project well so that the project will be replicated The waste of the draft animals shall serve as organic fertilizers thus continue the monitoring by the people. 29
