17 Effects of green manure and N-fertilization on the number of open bolls per plant of cotton - Number of Open Bolls per Plant: All N N0, N80, N160, N240 applied treatments had significantly higher number of open bolls per plant compared with control N0. Without Faba Peas Vetch green bean manure
18 Effects of green manure and nitrogen fertilization treatments on Seed cotton yield (kg/ha). - Seed Cotton Yield: Data indicated that the effects of green manure treatment on Seed cotton yield are significant, GM1 (Faba bean), and GM3 (vetch)

A paper from the work was accepted by the American-Eurasian Journal of Agricultural & Environmental Sci Journal (1633-JAES.pdf).

30 Socio-economic activities Activity 1: o Socio-economic survey of households to determine the current situation of the livelihoods in benchmark site of Al-Ghab. Activity 2: o Collection of socio-economic primary data through field surveys, and analysis of the collected data.
31 Achievements & results o We design and trial the questionnaire in the site (Jan Apr 2011), but we can not make field surveys (May Jul 2011), and Data analysis (Aug Sep 2011) because unsafe conditions at the Al-Ghab area. We made modifications to the questionnaire after using various references and statistical analyses. In addition, topics on gender, landholdings and agronomic practices were included. d
