36 IMPACT ON SOLANO COUNTY Right here in Solano County, and around the world, HM.CLAUSE invests more than $50 Million annually in innovative research on plant improvement and genetics An ongoing expansion of our cell biology laboratory located in Solano County will include a total of nearly $5 Million in additional capital investment by the end of 2015 We employ leading scientists, plant breeders, and technicians in our world class Solano County laboratories; and conduct research in molecular biology, cellular biology, and phytopathology that contribute to being one of the top five vegetable seed entities in the world Through these continuing investments and our activities in Solano County, HM.CLAUSE will be able to accelerate our plant breeding research, and to deliver new agricultural solutions to farmers who must meet the challenge of healthfully and sustainably feeding the world s growing population From earth to life
