Hardware you need To operate your space, you need an Internet connection, Entry Edition PLUS the following 3 pieces of hardware. Obviously you need as many switch ports as people to plug in (plus some more) and your enough Wi-Fi APs to cover your area. Just 3 items nothing else but Internet Managed Switch(es) You need at least one, even just a 10 port. Any more can be managed or unmanaged, as you wish Access Points for WiFi If you have an existing suitable Wi-Fi, you can use that. There s no special setup needed. Your Options You can acquire necessary hardware in 3 ways Supply yourself and add configurations (except Chassis) Rent from us (3 year term) Buy from us or suppliers

11 What do you need? Start the Evaluation You must have the appliance, but you may want a switch. Outside Europe, you must source the switch yourself in country. Get started by using our existing evaluation form. The Evaluation form requests shipping address Ordering Agreement Payment method Deposit on hardware At same time sign the Agreement Terms UK & Rest Europe is Gocardless, elsewhere please request method (or Paypal) which is refundable if you return hardware to us before the end of the evaluation (in good condition). 12 Getting Set Up Once you have ordered the Evaluation or Entry system, just fill out these forms Internet IP Addressing So that your appliance works out of the box, we need the addresses you are using for your Internet connection. The form is here and background here (If you are not sure after this, let us know.) Managed Switch If you are supplying this yourself, let us know the model (usually Cisco SG or SG300-10) and we ll preconfigure our system to use this switch for you (you will still need to do a couple of set up tasks on it). Guests You can use Mailchimp integration for Guests free at the entry level. We need your data here: But you can do this later if you prefer. Wi-Fi Just plug into the switch ports we have indicated. There are no special setups required. You may need to specify a Medusa managed switch with PoE to power APs directly - or - you can buy a low cost dumb switch with POE which may be easier. In which case, just connect this into the managed switch. Branded Gateway Users need to see a branded gateway to login, so this is important.
