The ProCurve Access Control Server 745wl, working in conjunction with the ProCurve Switch xl Access Controller Module has provided a specialized, highly secure wireless access solution for demanding client environments since Due to constantly changing business needs, ProCurve Networking by HP is announcing the End of Sale of the ProCurve Secure Access products listed below. Customers need to also consider ProCurve MSM Access Points (product numbers J9358A, J9359A, J9360A, J9364A, J9374A, J9379A, J9426A, and J9427A) as replacement radio ports products. Mis-configured client is supported when using a ProCurve MSM Controller. J9006A) as replacement products. Access Control Policies (based on user, locations and time): o Customers are encouraged to migrate to ProCurve Identity Driven Manager (IDM) and ProCurve Managed Switches 2610 Series or higher in order to access Base policies. o For advanced features (ACLs, QoS & rate limits) customers must migrate to ProCurve Identity Driven Manager (IDM) and ProCurve Intelligent Edge Switches. o As a secondary solution customers may also migrate to ProCurve MSM Controllers (product numbers J9328A, J9329A, J9330A or J9325A, J9326A, J9327A). o As a final alternative, customers may also consider Access Point 530 (product numbers J8986A or J8987A) to enable the full capabilities. Wireless Layer 3 Roaming: (MSM) Controllers (only these product numbers J9325A, J9326A, J9327A) as replacement controller products. Customers need to also consider ProCurve MSM Access Points (product numbers J9358A, J9359A, J9360A, J9364A, J9374A, J9379A, J9426A, and J9427A) as replacement radio ports products. Also, during the Service Life period beginning on the official End of Sale date and ending on the respective End of Service Life Dates below customers are entitled to the following: Product Warranty: For units still under warranty, warranty coverage per the warranty terms and conditions shipped with product. Service Agreement: Hardware maintenance services and/or software technical support services as stated in existing agreement. Agreements can be purchased and renewed during the Service- Life period but can not extend beyond End-of- Service-Life date without special permission from HP Services. Software Availability: Supported software update releases are posted for download on the ProCurve Web site.
