Dec 2006 till date (FOREIGN CLIENTS) United Electronics (extra), Saudi Arabia Worked as Senior Functional Architect on Oracle EBS R12 Implementation/upgrade at United Electronics (extra), a leading retail business firm in KSA, with stores in Bahrain and Oman. My role in this project was to supervise the SCM implementation from very beginning, starting from high level scoping and project planning phase to solution delivery. Modules implemented at UE (extra) are Oracle Financials, Oracle SCM (Procurement, Inventory), Oracle Retail and Oracle HCM. Softlogic Holdings PLC, Sri Lanka Working as Senior Functional Architect on Oracle EBS R12 Implementation at Softlogic Holdings Group, a leading business conglomerate in Sri Lanka. My role in this project is to supervise the SCM implementation from very beginning, starting from high level scoping and project planning phase to solution delivery. Managing SCM team of 8 Consultants for this implementation. I have been involved in this project since its inception, conducted high level scoping activity and project planning exercise. My role is to supervise SCM team (2 consultants) and look after upgrade activities for SCM related modules (Procurement, Inventory, and Order Management). Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited, Sri Lanka Worked as Senior Functional Architect on Oracle EBS R12 Implementation at Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited (AASL). My role in this project was to supervise the implementation from very beginning, starting from high level scoping and project planning phase to solution delivery. Managed functional teams for SCM and Oracle Projects streams for this project (6 consultants). Modules which are implemented at AASL are Oracle Financials, Oracle SCM, Oracle eam, Oracle Projects Oracle Property Manager and BI Analytics with ODI as ETL Tool. Other than these modules, a custom component was built to integrate AASL aeronautical billing to Oracle AR, their POS system to Oracle AR as well as integrating their custom Payroll software to Oracle GL. Maldives Airport Company Ltd., Maldives Worked as Senior Functional Architect on Oracle EBS R12 Implementation at Maldives Airport Company Ltd. My role in this project was to supervise the implementation from very beginning, starting from high level scoping and project planning phase to end-to-end solution delivery. Managed functional teams for SCM and Oracle Projects streams for this project (6 consultants). Modules implemented at MACL are Oracle Financials, Oracle SCM (Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse Management, and Order Management) Oracle Projects and Oracle Property Manager. Other than these modules, there is a custom component which was developed by my team to facilitate MACL for their Fuel Issuance Process which covers a huge chunk of their revenue transactions. Partex Star Group, Bangladesh Worked as Senior Functional Architect on Oracle EBS R12 Implementation at Partex Star Group, one of the leading food, beverages and furniture manufacturers & exporters in Bangladesh. I was involved in conducting the As Is study of WNL. Also took part in solution design and transition phases of this implementation. Modules implemented at Wijeya Newspapers are Oracle Financial Suite, Oracle SCM as well as customization for their Distribution system and its integration with Oracle Receivables (AR). I have been involved in this project since its Presales and initial scoping phase. Currently managing teams of SCM and Projects streams (4 Consultants) in this critical public sector upgrade project. I have been part of the high level costing and planning phase of this assignment. Involved in leading the SCM implementation team of 4 consultants during analysis, design, deployment, data migration and documentation of deliverables. Modules deployed at Bank Al Falah are Oracle Financials and Oracle SCM, along with integration of Oracle EBS with core Banking system. Bank Al-Habib Limited Worked as Senior Team Lead on Oracle EBS R11i Implementation Project for Bank Al-Habib. Involved in the implementation activities comprising analysis, design, training, deployment, data migration and documentation of deliverables. Modules deployed at Bank AL Habib are GL, AP, FA, Inventory and Purchasing, along with customized integration of Lotus Notes with Oracle Purchasing and Inventory modules for Purchase Requisition generation. PRESALES AND BUSINESS Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in Pre-Sales/Business Development activities for various local as well as international customers in Middle East, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives, Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore etc. For those Pre-Sales activities, I was part of the teams spearheading these demo scripts for POCs and presentations etc. SYSTEM INNOVATIONS PVT. LTD. (Si3) Sep 2005 to Dec 2006 NLC (NATIONAL LOGISTICS CELL) Worked as Consultant on the e-nlc Project for the NLC (National Logistics Cell). It was the largest Implementation project ever been done in Pakistan, comprised of 15 modules of Oracle e-business Suite including the core Oracle Financials, Supply Chain and HR. I was Involved in complete implementation of Oracle GL, Payables, Inventory, Purchasing and Order Management at various key business units of NLC. That included core team training, configuration, data migration, documentation and post-live support activities. I also took active part in technical assistance to the Apps DBA during application of patches and other maintenance activities. PRESALES AND BUSINESS I was also assigned on various Pre-Sales activities for various local projects like NTC (National Telecommunication Corporation) and Bank AL Habib etc. Those Pre-Sales activities include demos and preparation of project proposals, responses to RFPs etc. HYUNDAI INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KOREA PVT. LTD. Jan 2002 to Sep 2005 State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Worked along with the functional teams in the implementation and support for Oracle GL, Oracle Payables, Oracle HR, Oracle Inventory and Oracle Purchasing. I was involved in End User Training and post GO LIVE support activities of the above modules in all major branches of State Bank of Pakistan. Worked as a Team Lead in development of a customized solution for the State Bank of Pakistan s Medical Services Department (MSD) as part of the ongoing project. It is a fully integrated Medical Services System (MSS), developed in Oracle Developer 6i (for Forms and Reports development) and Oracle 8i as database engine. This application uses standard Oracle templates, and has been integrated with Oracle EBS modules like Oracle HR, Oracle Inventory, and Oracle Payables. ORACLE APPS SYSTEM/DATABASE ADMINISTRATION Responsible for administration of Oracle Applications to ensure its effectiveness and proper flow of processes as well as to troubleshoot the bugs faced during implementation of various Oracle Financials modules.
