Additional functionalities can be activated on top to obtain an advanced EWM. WM developments cannot be taken over as such. Try back to standard EWM functionality first, before activating BADI s in EWM. Migration is just one option, a greenfield EWM implementation is the other alternative. Assess what is the best option for you before you start. 13

Forklifts are tracked via Iot on Bosch Iot Cloud and SAP Hana Cloud Platform (SCP) From SCP captured data bin coordinates are derived in EWM and travel lanes are calculated. Advantage: automatic update of X-Y-Z coordinates at bin level which facilitates the network generation. 17

Analyze the data on SCP and using API management, generate ad hoc physical inventory documents in an EWM backend system. Advantage: fully automated physically inventory process 19 19

Fetch robots are linked via the cloud connected to the SAP clould platform (SCP = HCP) From SCP using API management, instructions are exchanged with EWM.
