2 INTRODUCTION IntelliMali is a privately-owned company that specialises in the payment and administration of allowances and funds through its solutions IntelliCard and IntelliCell. The company was established in 2009 to alleviate the pressure experienced by Chief Financial Officers and Financial Aid practitioners at South African Higher Education institutions and has grown substantially from this original base. It is a 50% black-owned company and has a Level 2 B-BBEE status. The business is managed and administrated by a team of professionals with the necessary expertise to meet the specific requirements of our range of clients. OUR OFFERING Most institutions, private funders, employers, foreign agencies, parents, and the like lack the capacity to administer allowances which need to be paid regularly to recipients. In most cases, the funding source does not have the necessary systems in place to manage the complexity of allowance administration and payment nor do they possess the agile technology required to perform this function. Allowances requiring management fall within a range of categories including: Tuition, Accommodation, Books, Food, Cash, Travel, Clothing, Fuel, Entertainment, and more. Our flexible and innovative technology, seamlessly connects the various funding sources with their recipients and provides the funding source with the peace-of-mind they require in the disbursement of allowances and funds. All the machines that execute the transactions at the merchant premises carry backup batteries and continue to operate for about six hours without power, if required. Our team of highly-skilled technicians are always on-hand to support our machines and services. All stakeholders in the service, namely the funding source, the merchant and the recipient enjoy custom-designed and dedicated online environments that provide them with real-time reports, the latest information and system updates.

4 ALLOWANCE ADMINISTRATION AND PAYMENTS We administer payments for a range of allowance categories on behalf of institutions, private funders, employers, foreign agencies and parents. All merchants that qualify are proposed by the funders and the payment processes and administration of allowances is executed by IntelliMali. The merchant community offers recipients access to food, books, accommodation, and other necessities onpremises, off-premises or online. The allowance categories include but are not limited to: ACCOMMODATION Recipients are able to utilise both on-premises and off-premises merchants. Typically, the onpremises merchant, in the case of students, is a university residence while the off-premises merchant could be an apartment, student accommodation complex or approved shared residence. FOOD Recipients are able to purchase both prepared meals at restaurants or canteens as well as groceries from participating retailers. The allowance limit can be managed on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. BOOKS Recipients are able to purchase both printed or electronic books and learning resources. In addition, where allowed, recipients are able to purchase electronic equipment related to their studies or profession. TUITION Recipient's tuition is paid on their behalf to the institution or learning provider. CASH Recipients can receive a cash payment from our system to their personal bank account. The cash is then redeemed from their bank account using their banking card or banking method of choice.

5 AN EVOLUTION OF FLEXIBILITY AND INNOVATION Funds are released to the recipients as per the requirements and instructions of the funding source. The recipients are then, utilizing the Intellicard or Intellicell platforms, able to spend their allowances and funds in a range of market places via the more than 1,800 integrated machines at the participating merchants. The portal displays participating merchants, provides accurate and up-to-the-minute balances and offers advice on how to manage the allowance.
