2 Page 1 Data Exchange for Sage 50 The Data Exchange for Sage 50 module provides an out of the box solution enabling integration between Sage 50 accounts and 3rd party applications. Many businesses that use Sage 50 have requirements for integration with other systems. The following few examples are typical scenarios: Web trading making stock information including descriptions, pricing and pictures available on a website, and receiving sales order information. Bespoke stock management systems companies using industry specific systems to handle stock and order processing where stock movements need to also be accounted for in Sage 200. EPOS systems companies using an EPOS system other than Sage POS where sales order and cash transactions need to be posted to Sage 200. Global enterprises where different parts of an organisation use different accounting/business management solutions and require customers, suppliers and various transaction types to be synchronised between systems. In the above situations, the typical solution is to write complex and very costly data transfer routines to handle movement between different database types. Often this can result in large administrative overheads in transferring the data, and discrepancies occurring between systems as a result. Data Exchange for Sage 50 has been designed to account for these scenarios and many more. Main Features & Benefits Easy to install & configure - easy to follow install wizard and simple configuration options. Fully automated - Automatically upload data between Sage 50 and 3rd party products without any manual intervention, ensuring that product changes are visible immediately. Transfer data including stock levels, sales orders and more. Upload product catalogue to your website - If you are already using Sage 50 you can automatically upload product details including price and stock levels from Sage, without any manual intervention. From talking to our customers, this saves an average of 5 minutes for every product uploaded more than an average working day for every 100 products. Automatically manage customers and orders - Orders are automatically transferred from the website and created in Sage without any manual processing. Customer records are also automatically created or amended ensuring nothing slips through the net.' Supports CSV & XML file formats data can be transferred in and out of Sage 200 in either CSV or XML formats, allowing more flexible integration with different database types. FTP compatible Upload Sage 50 data to designated locations on an FTP site, particularly useful for web integration.

Batch/Serial number functionality for sales order allocations, PO receipts, add or write off stock, stock issues and stock transfers. o Cuts data entry in half Having to only update one system means that product amendments only need to be made once, cutting data entry time in half. o Reduce errors Entering data changes, only once ensures that errors through duplication are eliminated, while keeping data accurate throughout the business. o Report & analyse from one system as all data is available in Sage, sales and purchase reports and analysis can be managed from one system, not two.
