22 REPORTING - User can apply filters to multiple activity types and view detailed reports across Activity, Group, and Faculty report pages. User can Filter and Group By to view meaningful data for specific reporting purposes. Answering question(s) like: Which of my Grants are for projects under $15,000. How many published journal articles did the Biology Department create in the past 6 months with a percent authorship greater than 80%?

29 CUSTOM GROUPS University administrators can create a custom group of individuals for running reports. Show only custom groups. 28

30 SUBMISSION ROUNDS-P&T workflow Setting up a custom submission round: Submission round manager sets all of the criteria and instructions, and invites users to the submission round.

31 SUBMISSION ROUNDS Faculty members can track the submissions they must submit and which ones they have already submitted.

32 SUBMISSION ROUNDS A submission round manager can track the status of submissions, and click to view users submitted documents.

33 MANAGE USERS Add new administrator, edit existing administrator information or disable administrator account(s). Add new user, search for user, edit existing user information (name, user name, roles, groups, integration user Id, enable or disable a user), reset password, and auto login to a user account.

Institution can customize any text resource in the Research In View user interface. Institution customize activity type and attributes to meet institution requirements. For example: Change Clinical Trials to Ensayos Clinicos.

36 CUSTOM ACTIVITY TYPE Institution can add its own activity types via the administrative console. Attributes can be added to existing activity types.

39 CUSTOM TEMPLATES Map data elements to template elements Create word file includes the mapped data elements that will merge with the user s profile data TR staff exposes the new template in the DOCUMENTS page of RIV RIV user chooses the template on the DOCUMENTS page, applying any filtering of data via existing filter capability on the DOCUMENTS page RIV system displays a document that includes the static text of the template merged with the user s profile data according to the mapping defined in steps 1 and 2; Export

40 Reporting - continued De-duplication: Journal Article and Conference Paper and Proceedings Activities that are matching across Faculty and Groups in an institution are de-duplicated when counted for reports ensuring that i.e. co-authored articles are accurate in reporting as a single instance. User has the ability to export the report to Excel, Word, and PDF formats.

46 Implementation Overview TR Implementation Manager Becomes the main point of contact for implementation, pre and post sale, Acts as a service consultant to guide the customer in understanding the types of data that could be integrated and customized through RIV Creates and manages the implementation schedule for the customer Acts as first-level support for questions and problems that arise. Becomes the product liaison by assisting with the generation of ideas and concept refinement through feedback sessions and provide the feedback to the RIV product development team.
