3 ABOUT WHY TUFCOAT? Tufcoat scaffold wrap is a durable sheeting which is heat shrunk to create a continuously bonded skin over the roof and sides of scaffold structures without holes or gaps typical of traditional cladding systems. Tufcoat scaffold wrap is recommended for projects where a high level of environmental containment or weather protection is required. By creating a drum tight and tear resistant covering, Tufcoat is able to stand up to the most severe weather conditions, eliminating the problem of detached sheets and emergency repair. Should it be necessary to gain access through sheeting, i.e. for craneage, Tufcoat can be cut open and re-sealed to maintain 100% containment. Tufcoat are an ISO9001 accredited company and a NASC member who supply materials, equipment and training to the construction industry, alternatively a full supply and fix service can be provided by our installation teams.

Our installation teams have a wealth of experience and knowledge which enables them to carry out any project safely and efficiently, night or day. Our teams are experienced in working trackside, power stations, on bridges and other critical locations. All our installation team members hold CSCS cards and work to method statements and risk assessments. If the use of MEWPS is required, we can supply personnel with the necessary IPAF qualifications.

Heat Gun Powered by a cylinder of propane gas, the heat gun is designed to give a tight, consistent finish to the scaffold cladding. Tufcoat scaffold wrap 7m x 15m or 12m x 15m, 300 micron, flame retardant : Used for external roofs and sides. 12m x 50m, 190 micron, flame retardant : Used for internal sheeting and partitioning. Tufclips Used to tightly hold the shrink wrap film in position where it is wrapped around a scaffold tube. The shrink wrap is then heat welded permanently into position, and the Tufclips removed to use again. Patch tape 100mm wide, high tack adhesive, waterproof tape. Used for repairing small holes and reinforcing the seam or weld where two pieces of scaffold wrap are joined. Zipped access doors These are taped on to the finished scaffolding cover to enable access underneath. TRAINING We provide the necessary support to get your team up and running including an initial training system at your site for up to 4 people. Tufcoat are an ISO9001:2000 accredited company and our training courses is approved by the CITB. 10 SPECIFICATIon DATASHEET: TUFCOAT FLAME RETARDANT SCAFFOLD CLADDING Tufcoat scaffold sheeting is an Construction grade LDPE film used for applications in harsh environments. Tufcoat is formulated with added UVI, (ultra violet inhibitors), which prevents the film breaking down under sunlight for up to one year and EVA, which prevents the film from becoming brittle at low temperatures. Tufcoat cladding shrinks in all directions. This biaxial shrinkage, even at widths over 10m, means it can be installed in any orientation.
