Building Information Modeling Answers to these questions differ according to your role within the AEC sector, and perhaps even depend on specific profile within each profession Is it a 3D model with all the necessary embedded information? Is it a methodology that enhances collaboration throughout the designing cycle (and potentially beyond) and among disciplines? Is it a procedure that reduces tendering and construction risks by making the access to the design data more transparent and complete?
