4 Introduction Edilfloor is a modern and dynamic company, which produces and distributes technical textiles for more than 35 years. It operates in different industries, as civil engineering, automotive, furniture, acoustic isolation, agriculture and zootechnics. Its continuous technical innovation process and its positive commercial strategy let Edilfloor to be present in more than 50 countries all over the world. 5 Research and development My name is Rinaldo Campagnolo, and I am both President of Edilfloor Spa and Sales Director of Green Division. I started my job career on 1979, dedicating my time both to production and sales processes of technical textiles and to the R&D of new products and applications. Creativity, imagination and inexhaustible passion for my job are the ingredients of my professional activity and of the results obtained. Keeping in mind my familiar origins and being ready for new challenges, I created a new division called Green Division. This business unit offers alternative and profitable solutions for zootechnical and agricultural industries, based on patented and own branded products. This certified and high level quality is possible thanks to the ongoing R&D processes and to versatile production plants. 7 Flortex 10 Juta fabric for a natural and biodegradable weedcontrol Flortex 10 is a juta fabric, from 300 up to 1000 g/m 2, available in rolls, small square pieces and specifically studied for plantations. 9 Flortex 55/160 Breathable fabric for hay, straw and corn stubble protection Flortex 55/160 is a green polypropylene nonwoven of 160 g/m 2, UV rays treated, breathable, specifically studied for hay, straw and corn stubble roundbales and bigbales cover. Filled with gravel they are a clean and green solution compared to tires. Composed by an ultraviolet stabilized high density green polyethylene woven to ensure a long lasting life, it is highly resistant to abrasion, it has a garter for a rapid closure and a handle for a quick movement. 18
