GENERAL 1. The following manufacturers have been approved, subject to meeting all Specification requirements: Specification Section Cast Stone Masonry Atlanta West Cast Stone, Inc. 2. Addendum No. 1 New Schedule of Alternates - Alternate No. 3 Add the following: Contractor shall remove existing asphalt and base. New asphalt and base shall be as shown on Sheet C1.04 Asphalt Paving Detail. 3. Addendum No. 1 - Plans Item No. 2 Parking provided by the Owner shall include the concrete walk. 4. Addendum No. 1 Plans Item No. 3 This item changes quantity behind maintenance shed to 18LF. SPECIFICATIONS 1. Specification Section Rough Carpentry Page 2 of 9, Part 1.4, D, 2: Omit this sentence in its entirety. 2. Sheet A2.02 Floor Plans Press Box Floor Plans Stair shown from first floor to second floor is wood construction. 3. Sheet A5.03 Building Section A Home dugout Change metal soffit to read Vented Fiber Cement Board equal to Hardie Vented Soffit. Install at ceiling of dugout and facing over beam. 4. Sheet A5.04 Building Section A Visitors Dugout Change metal soffit to read Vented Fiber Cement Board, equal to Hardi Vented Soffit. Install at ceiling and facing over beam. Building Section B & Detail 3 Change Vented Soffit as above. 5. Sheets M1.01 & M1.02 Air Handling Units 1, 2, and 3 are mounted to the trusses and the weight for each is 60 lbs. 6. Sheet S1.02, Detail 4 Omit this Detail and install steel beams as shown on A5.02 (Section A) and A5.03 (Section A) for lintels at home dugout and visitors dugout. Also Sheet A2.01 Home Dugout First Floor Plan, and Sheet A2.02 Visitors Dugout First Floor Plan. 3 SECTION FIBER-CEMENT BOARD (Vented Soffit) PART 1 GENERAL 1.1 SUMMARY A. Provide exterior architectural woodwork: 1. Standing and running trim. Trim joints in ceiling with ½ x 1 Hardiplank. 2. Miscellaneous trim as indicated on drawings. 1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE A. Comply with governing codes and regulations. Provide products of acceptable manufacturers, which have been in satisfactory use in similar service for three years. Use experienced installers. Deliver, handle, and store materials in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. B. Standards: Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) "Architectural Woodwork Quality Standards." 1.3 PRODUCT HANDLING A. Stack Hardiplank claddings on edge or lay flat on a smooth, level surface. Protect edges and corners from chipping. Store sheets under cover and keep dry prior to installing. 1.4 JOB CONDITIONS A. Nominal 2 inch x 6 inch wood framing selected for minimal shrinkage and complying with local building codes, including the use of weather-resistive barriers and/or vapor barriers where required. Minimum 1½ inch face and straight, true, of uniform dimensions and properly aligned. B. Install weather-resistive barriers and claddings to dry surfaces. C. Repair any punctures or tears in the weather-resistive barrier prior to the installation of the siding. D. Protect siding from other trades. 1.6 WARRANTY A. James Hardie's limited product warranty against manufacturing defects in HardiTrim for 10 years. Section Page1 of 2

4 PART 2 - PRODUCTS 2.1 EXTERIOR MATERIALS: HARDIPLANK - JAMES HARDIE BUILDING PRODUCTS, HARDIE A. Non-asbestos fiber-cement siding to comply with ASTM Standard Specification C1186 Grade II, Type A. B. Soffits to meet the following building code compliance National Evaluation Report No. NER 405 (ICBO).Non-asbestos fiber-cement siding to be noncombustible when tested in accordance with ASTM test method E136. C. Type: Smooth and size as indicated on drawings. (vented) 2.2 FASTENERS A. Fasteners as required and recommended by manufacturer for application. B. Exterior Standing and Running Trim: 1. Back-prime all exterior trim materials prior to installation. 2. Prime all cut ends of exterior trim materials during installation. 3. Grade: Custom. 4. Finish: Paint 5. Color: As selected by architect. PART 3 - EXECUTION 3.1 INSTALLATION A. Provide work to sizes indicated. Install work to comply with quality standards referenced. Back prime work and install plumb, level and straight with tight joints; scribe work to fit. B. Quality Standard: Install woodwork to comply with AWI Section 1700 for the same grade specified for type of woodwork involved. C. Install materials and systems in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Install materials and systems in proper relation with adjacent construction. Use non-corrosive fasteners for exterior work. Coordinate with work of other sections. D. Comply with manufacturer's requirements for cutting, handling, fastening and working treated materials. E.
