2 PROJECT HISTORY For the 27th Africa-France Summit, held in Bamako, Mali, on 13 and 14 January 2017, l Agence de Cession Immobilière (ACI) had set itself the ambition to contribute to the success of this meeting through the realization of hotel infrastructures to welcome the heads of states of around thirty countries. During these two days, all eyes were focused on the new face of Bamako. Coping with many constraints, such as very short deadlines, a limited budget, a sophisticated and complex construction goal, ACI entrusted ECO SYSTEM with the architectural design and construction of this project composed of 14 luxurious villas delivered «turnkey» for the accommodation of heads of states and governments. These well-appointed residences will be used as high standing hotel houses. ECO SYSTEM EXPERTISE Recognized for its expertise in high-end modular prefabricated constructions, ECO SYSTEM has successfully developed its activity to offer the professionals of the luxury hotel industry, modern constructions combining comfort, design, security while meeting environmental, acoustic and thermal standards. These innovative solutions originating from modular building technical substantially reduces construction delays as well as the fabrication, assembling and maintenance costs while respecting the refinement and elegance required for the prestigious standards of the hotel rooms. From the outset of the project, ECO SYSTEM s multi-disciplinary team composed of architects and engineers defines and specifies the procedures necessary to deliver the project as contracted. ECO SYSTEM ensured a clientspecific customized management of the project in terms of remote support for local content management, supervision, implementation, supply, installation and maintenance.

3 AN INNOVATIVE PROJECT ECO SYSTEM worked on a «turnkey» solution to build a complex residential facilities of m² 14 luxurious villas of 220 m² each with terraces, parking and private outdoor areas a main road illuminated with solar lights green spaces and landscaping layout a video surveillance system to ensure the security a waste water treatment plant A real Challenge Construction of 3080 m² of high-end living space Laying the first foundation stone on 15 August 2016 Delivered to the client on 10 th January 2017 Construction time 5 months 100 local and European suppliers 4000 boxes of furniture 54 sea containers/12 air freight A team of 160 people including 20 expatriates Transfer of skills enhanced by obtaining diplomas for local teams Faced with the urgency of the Malian and French authorities in organizing the 27th Africa-France Summit, ECO SYSTEM has committed itself to extremely short deadlines. The contract was signed between the two parties on 6 June 2016 to deliver the 14 presidential villas on 10 January ECO SYSTEM took up a real challenge in terms of logistics, purchasing, local labor coordination and delivered a 100% product in accordance with the specifications. Each villa includes: A spacious presidential bedroom with its private bathroom and living room; A 56 m² living and dining areas; A fully equipped modern kitchen; Two «guest» rooms of 10 m² and 16 m², with common sanitary facilities; A storehouse; Connection to the internet and WIFI. The interior architecture of each villa has been designed according to criteria such as: safety, conviviality, aesthetics, comfort and a subtle blend of contemporary furniture and local craftsmanship. ECO SYSTEM has realized timeless villas, both by their quality and robustness and by their interior design. All the villas are furnished with refined furniture that harmoniously combine Italian design and Malian style.

5 EMPLOYED TECHNOLOGY Given the project s specificities and the very short lead times, the X-LAM construction system was selected and ECO SYSTEM committed itself to putting in place a reliable technical solution based on industrialized products for the villas construction. In compliance with the ISO standard, all the equipment used by ECO SYSTEM comes from ecologically sustainable forests. The X-LAM panel is made of selfsupporting solid wood and is factory-built with laminated-crossed pine boards. The pine / fir planks are fixed together on each side to form homogeneous layers of desirable thickness and size; each layer is superimposed on another, orienting the wood fiber orthogonally; the fastening system between the layers can be made with specifically adapted nails and / or glue. When assembly is completed, machines cut the panels to the final size leaving the locations for the windows and doors. Panels receive factory anti-termite treatment. The panels thus prepared are sent on site and assembled, using a crane, within a minimum period of time. 6 OPERATIONS From the Monaco headquarters, in conjunction with its architects, the ECO-SYSTEM Operations Department have elaborated the architectural project, the preliminary and executive plans, established a detailed calendar, supervised and followed all the civil works and Engineering throughout the whole construction period. It also managed all the Supply Chain activities related to this project. Suppliers were selected through an assessment process with critical consideration towards environmental and safety standards, capacity to cope with delays, while maintaining a high level of quality. A selection of about a hundred European suppliers and local subcontractors with specific disciplines enabled the ECO SYSTEM team to effectively coordinate, monitor and manage the work as well as the suppliers and to satisfy all the contractual requirements defined in the specifications. The ECO SYSTEM team has given priority to involve and collaborate on each of its projects with local labor, thus ensuring a transfer and sharing of skills to contribute to the development of the country. On this project, electricians trained by expatriates will receive a diploma from the Malian authorities. The Supply chain management also played a key role in the success of this project. A total of 54 containers have been shipped to Bamako from Europe, 12 shipments by air freight and a truck from Morocco. These included the prefabricated structures (X-LAM panels), wood roofs, sandwich panels (insulation), waste water treatment facilities, video surveillance systems, equipment and furniture. The site manager, accompanied by his deputy and his 160 employees, spread among expatriates and local staff, worked intensively to carry out this project on time while meeting the quality requirements.

7 Some of our suppliers YÉLEEN DESIGN combines tradition and innovation by offering artisanal collections of plaids and cushions made by traditional weavers in a resolutely refined and modern line of cotton. The workshop NIARELA 240, combines cultures and know-how and has entirely manufactured by hand the double curtains installed in the rooms. Maliba Pottery took charge of the pottery and Oumar Kamara paintings. DJITTE was in charge of interior finishing works (painting and tiles) EGENEB, a construction company, carried out the foundations and perimeter wall. MGC was in charge of the rental of the construction equipment and supporting the waste water treatment s installation.
