2 P71458 P & -900 Description -700 and -900 are fl oor outlet boxes for dry premises with an incavity fl oor or a raised access fl oor. For casting in concrete, the fl oor outlet boxes should be used in conjunction with screeded fl oor box -IG or former -RF. The rectangular -700 is 220x310 mm and the square -900 is 310x310 mm. The dimension of the hole in the fl oor is 201x292 ±1 mm for -700 and 292x292 ±1 mm for The required smallest installation depth for the fl oor outlet boxes is 110 mm and the greatest internal depth 54 mm. The boxes are based on a grid for the outlets and connections, completed by a trim frame with a lid. Grid The grid has three F80 openings for CAN and/or CYB outlets for power, telecom and data. Grid infi ll -L is to be used to cover space that is not taken up by an outlet. Trim frame and lid The lid that can be trimmed with any material of up to 8 mm thickness. Note, however, that hard, brittle materials like stone should be avoided, since there is a risk that they might crack. The trim frame is provided with a fl ange that bears upon the fl ooring to conceal the edge of the hole and to outbalance the loads exerted on the box. In the 80 opening position the lid is self-closing. When required, the lid can be kept open or completely removed by pressing down the red buttons at the hinges. The lid is reinforced by of 4 mm thick sheet steel inlay. 5 P Floor outlet box -140M Description -140M is a floor outlet box made of stainless steel intended for incavity floors or raised access floors in dry premises. For casting in concrete, the boxes should be used in conjunction with screeded floor box -IG140. Trim frame and lid The trim frame has an integrated 110 mm opening for outlets and two knock-outs for LexCom RJ45 connections and is provided with a flange that bears upon the flooring to conceal the edge of the hole and to outbalance the loads exerted on the box. The lid has a thickness of 2 mm and has a slot for cable exit. The trim frame is supplied with a plate (item 4 in the exploded view) that covers the cable exit slot in the lid. 10 P71461 Floor outlet box -800 Description -800 is a round fl oor outlet box for dry premises. For casting in concrete, -800 should be used with screeded fl oor box -IG or former -RF requires a minimum depth of 70 mm in a fi nished fl oor and a hole with a diameter of 305 ±1 mm. Grid The grid holds up to twelve outlets for 230 V (CYB-PS triple Schuko). In the three F80 openings in the grid, fi ve standard outlets o84 mm, can be installed. The grid also has four 17.5x18.2 mm knockouts for RJ 45 LexCom. The grid is attached to matrix positions in the trim frame with four combined lifting handles/fasteners. The matrices have a pitch of 5 mm and require a fl oor depth from 70 to 100 mm. The internal unobstructed depth of the fl oor outlet box is then 15 to 45 mm. A minimum fl oor depth of 75 mm is required for an angled standard plug in a schuko outlet, and a fl oor depth of at least 85 mm is required for an angled data cover (CYB-BK1). The grid can be detached from the trim frame and lid, which means that it can be supplied separately and installed in conjunction with other installation work. Trim frame and lid The trim frame is available in two different colours, with a lid that can be trimmed with any material of up to 5 mm thickness. The patented fl oor fi xing devices function ir-respective of the depth of the fl oor or the type of wall in the hole. The floor fi xing expands as the screw is inserted, giving a large contact surface and permitting attachment in both hard and porous fl oor materials. The trim frame is provided with a fl ange that bears upon the fl ooring to conceal the edge of the hole and to outbalance the loads exerted on the box. The lid can be opened in two positions; either through 80, in which case it is self-closing, or through 180 during service. The lid can be installed facing in four directions (at 90 intervals) without having to rotate the installation. The lid is reinforced with a 4 mm sheet steel plate. 13 Screeded fl oor boxes P1557 A IG -IG Fig. 1 -IG Floor slab Fig. 2 -IG140 Shuttering Screeded floor boxes -IG Description Screeded fl oor boxes -IG and -IG140 are to be placed on the fl oor slab, which is then covered by concrete screed (fi g.1), or on the shuttering before the concrete is poured (fi g.2). If the shuttering formwork is to be removed after the casting, the box must be placed according to fi g. 2, i.e. with a concrete layer under the box. -IG For -IG the minimum depth of the concrete layer should be 70 mm and 110 mm respectively. -IG can be continuously adjusted to a height of mm and mm respectively. By using one or several spacer frames -MG, the depth can be increased in steps of 40 mm per frame. All four sides of -IG can be opened for connections by using adaptors -AP for various applications. -AP adaptors are available in three different designs for the connection of pipes or trunkings. The pipe adaptor can be adjusted to four different pipe dimensions by using reduction sleeves. The box is supplied with one side open and the other three sides covered by blank plates, and is provided with a top plate intended to prevent concrete from leaking into the box. After the casting the top plate is to be replaced by installation cover -MP. -IG140 -IG140 is intended for fl oors with a minimum thickness of 140 mm and is adapted to suit fl oor outlet box -140M. Height adjustment of IFB-IG140 is made by using universal supports (not in the delivery programme). Each side of the box is provided with two knock-out openings, adapted to pipe adaptor -AP and Ø25 mm pipes. The top of the box is covered by foamed plastic to prevent concrete and water from leaking into the box. This plastic cover is to be removed before the fl oor outlet box is installed. Fixings for the floor outlet box are included in -IG140.
