2 Appendix 1: Commitments to be respected Subscribing to the International Trail-Running Association implies, for its members, a number of measures to be respected in terms of ethics, quality of organisation, presentation of their event, follow-up and management of the results. Upon joining the ITRA, each member therefore agrees: To respect and promote the ethics of trail-running To set up an organisation of quality at the same time: Respecting the environment and developing the territory Having well stocked and well positioned refreshment posts for all runners Ensuring runners security The provision of information tools aimed at the runners and at those accompanying them The guarantee of an equitable race for all To supply a precise description of the race (cf. Appendix 2: Race description) To supply the exact length of the race route: Give a GPS track taken on the ground (Advice: Set the GPS to register a point very 10 metres) State the type of GPS used for the measurement (with or without barometric altimeter) Give, if possible, height gain/loss taken with a barometric altimeter independent from a GPS To supply the race results in the form of an Excel spread-sheet, containing: Surnames of the runners First names Gender The complete date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY) or year of birth by default Scratch ranking The time (hh :mm :ss) Nationality (IOC Olympic norm or ISO 3-alpha or ISO 2-alpha) The club The town of residence The country of residence (IOC Olympic norm or ISO 3-alpha or ISO 2-alpha) N.B.: Information listed in red is obligatory.
