12 Sedex Supplier Registration Process What you need in order to join SEDEX 1. Company Details Company Name Company Address Country and Postcode Number of Sites of Employment that you own and wish to register? 2. Main Contact Details at Company Contact Person Telephone Number (Primary address that will be used for registration SEDEX information will be sent to this address) Username (A username that you select to use the SEDEX system) 3. Terms and Conditions Read and agree to the SEDEX Terms and Conditions of Membership, SEDEX Rules, and Refund Policy. These can also be printed / saved for your future reference. 4. Payment methods for SEDEX *Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro) Online payment websites (Paypal and Alipay) Offline payment through BACS bank transfer *Where you may not have a company issued credit card and opt to use a personal credit card, SEDEX generates an invoice which you may use to claim your respective fees from your accounts department. 12

B members: companies which ENTER and maintain data (e.g.. a company that owns productions sites or an agent who does not want to view data about its suppliers) AB members: companies which both VIEW and ENTER (e.g.. company with multiple production sites which also wants to view information about companies/sites in its supply chain or an agent which wants to view information entered by its suppliers and/or wants to help its suppliers enter and manage data about labour standards) 4) Choose the number of sites of employment you wish to register (at an annual cost of handling charge per B Member site) A members: companies which VIEW data about companies/ sites in their supply chain but do NOT supply into another commercial company (e.g.. retailer) 14

15 Sedex Supplier Registration Process 5) Enter the address of the main contact for your account. All Sedex communication will be sent to this address. 6) Choose a username to be used each time you log into Sedex 7) Read and agree to the Sedex rules and terms and conditions 15

16 Additional Payment Support If you require an invoice or contract statement from Sedex before making payment please contact the Sedex Helpdesk who will be able to provide this. 16

17 Sedex Secure Payment Page The system calculates the payment according to the number of your sites of employment you wish to register S$65 8) Click here to make payment If you cannot make a payment online using a credit card please contact the Sedex Helpdesk who will be able to provide the information necessary for you to make a bank transfer using BACS. 17

(If applicable) Confirmation from PayPal of your payment. 2. Confirmation from Sedex that your account has been set up 18

19 Sedex Secure Payment Page 10) Enter your payment details here You must ensure that the Billing Address matches the address of the card you are paying with otherwise your payment cannot be processed. 11) If you wish to pay through an existing PayPal account please log in here If you cannot make a payment online using a credit card please contact the Sedex Helpdesk who will be able to provide the information necessary for you to make a bank transfer using BACS. 19

21 Adding your Direct and Indirect Customers* 14. Select trading relationship type* 15. Search for your customers *Direct Customer: Customer that you supply directly and who pays you for your goods Indirect Customer: is supplied with your goods by your direct customer. Not all companies have an indirect customer. As soon as your customer validates your request, your company will be visible to them. 21

22 Link your sites to your customers 16. Give your customers access to your data 17. Tick the boxes to share your information with your customer Complete this step to link each site that supplies your customer. Your sites will then be visible to your customer. 22
