5 Evening Programme on Nov. 3rd Meeting for the cultural programme at the German Oceanographic Museum (Deutsches Meeresmuseum) The participants have two options to join a cultural programme Option I Guided tour through the medieval world heritage Hanseatic town Stralsund. The tour will end at the Oceanographic Museum (venue of the conference dinner) Option II Guided tour through the exhibition in the Oceanographic Museum Conference dinner Conference dinner at the German Oceanographic Museum. The special ambience of the event place will impress you Excursions Programme on Nov. 4th Excursion I Visit of the biogas plant in Anklam and the local production of bio diesel in Strasburg. At noon we visit Schloß Rattey and the northernmost viniculture region of Germany with lunch break. After Lunch we visit the Biomass-CHP plant Neustrelitz. Possibility for early departure by train from Neustrelitz approx pm. End of excursion is scheduled for 6.00 pm in Stralsund. Excursion II Visit of the oil mill Varchentin and the Energy Plantation at the State Research Center of Agriculture, Gülzow here we will have Lunch. On the way back to Stralsund we have the possibility for early departure by train from Rostock approx pm. The end of excursion is scheduled for 6.00 pm in Stralsund. Excursion III (REGWA Excursion) Journey to the Island Rügen. The participants will visit the biogas power plant Pastitz, the desalination plant Dranske and a mobile application of a FuelCell at Kap Arkona. Arrival in Stralsund is scheduled at 4.00 pm.
