Background of Green Factory The concept of Green Factory was initiated by 20 corporations of the electronics industry at the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Forum in The Ministry of the Interior (MOI) proceeded the Green Building Evaluation Index of high-tech factories in 2009 as the initial planning of Green Factory. The Congress of Executive Yuan's Energy Conservation and Carbon Reduction Promotion Board in 2010 made a conclusion that Green Factory Promotion should be scheduled in the following steps: 6
