2 CALL US IN THE BEGINNING... Heating your home used to be simple: mains gas, oil or storage heaters; there was very little in terms of choice. The world of heating has moved on considerably and continues to do so, due to our desire for greater efficiency and drive to be as green as possible. With this demand has come choice; never before have you had so many different ways to heat your home, and this is where GAH come in... Well, we ve been in the heating industry, supplying and making heating products, since 1993 and continue to thrive in an ever-changing marketplace. Our vast experience, product knowledge and technical know-how means we re pretty good at what we do. We re constantly looking at, and testing, new technologies offered by heating manufacturers (and sometimes developing our own) alongside more traditional forms of heating, with ever-increasing efficiency. All this gives us enormous flexibility in what we deliver. 3 S OLAR WIND RAIN CALL US GAS ELECTRIC A I R S O U R C E UNDERFLOOR WATER HARVESTERS OIL GROUND SOURCE We can now use a variety of energy sources to generate heat, linked with different ways of delivering it. Some are greener than others, some involve greater initial costs but cheaper running costs, but which are right for you? Well, that really does depend on what your brief is. That s why we start by talking to you, asking you about what your project entails, then we draw up a solution that fits your brief (and your pocket).

4 WE HAVE SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE... CALL US Air Source Heat Pumps Air source heat pumps are suitable for all types of wellinsulated properties, but if you are renovating or considering a new build, we especially recommend that you consider an air source heat pump. They are flexible and can be connected to a new or existing heating system, whether that be underfloor heating, radiators or fan coils. The running costs of heat pumps are significantly lower than conventional heating systems up to 70% of heat can be generated for free using natural resources and they can reduce your carbon emissions by 30-50%. Dual Stream and Cold Stream It s worth remembering that the water performance in your home is only as good as the mains supply to the property. If you re more demanding of your water supply perhaps you have two or more bathrooms or a high - performance shower that is not delivering then it s worth considering our Dualstream or Coldstream range. These work to significantly enhance flow rates so that you ll never be disappointed by your shower again! Electrastream If you re looking to upgrade your heating system but have a smaller budget to work with, we would recommend the Electrastream range of boilers. Unlike storage heaters, Electrastream boilers allow far more flexibility in the control of your heating system as they can be used with conventional radiators or underfloor heating. You ll find these much more efficient to run and more environmentally friendly. Electrastream Solar Our Electrastream Solar range is ideal for those with smaller properties (existing or new) wishing to utilise green technology. Electrastream Solar has all the benefits of Electrastream but can be linked to solar panels. Solar Panels The energy generated from solar panels supplies 50-60% of your annual hot water need we say more! They are robust, simple and can be used on most types of building. In smaller properties, they work brilliantly with the Electrastream Solar boiler. Rainwater Harvester Water is becoming a more expensive commodity and it seems crazy to use tap water on the garden or to wash the car, when an abundance of it falls from the sky! A rainwater harvester does what it says on the tin and if you want to go the extra mile, the water harnessed can even be used in your washing machine or to flush the toilets. Underfloor Heating (UFH) Underfloor heating is the invisible way to heat your home and is ideally placed to take advantage of renewable energy solutions, such as heat pumps. UFH can be laid under most types of floor and it distributes heat evenly throughout the home, so it s also ideal for larger surface areas, such as offices and rooms with higher ceilings. There s also less air and dust movement, making it more hygienic and more suitable for allergy sufferers. Ultimately though, because it works at lower temperatures, it can save you money on your fuel bills. Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP) Ground source technology is ideal if you ve got a larger garden or plot of land in which to bury the collector pipe. A GSHP harnesses heat from the ground to heat your water and heating system. Thermeco Thermeco is a new generation of oil-fired condensing boiler, which offers quality, higher efficiency and quiet operation.
